This paper shows that it is possible to estimate, from a single interferogram image, the error of the concave shape for an optically polished surface that will be used as a mirror in a reflecting telescope. In the Optics Laboratory of the PUCP, a Twyman-Green interferometer has been implemented; surface images with overlapping interference fringes known as interferograms are acquired. Algorithms based on Fourier transform allows the reconstruction of the surface shape and its deviation from ideal concave shape. Images were evaluated for different numbers of interference fringes in the same surface; in each case, a single image was necessary to determine surface error with the added advantage of not having contact with the surface.

Over the years, the procedures for the extraction of DNA fingerprints have become more and more uniform and detailed in terms of obtaining them, being that this type of evidence has been chosen as one of the main ones within the criminal process, displacing the testimonial evidence. However, it is important to verify if the current legislation has been advancing according to the steps of science and, above all, to analyze questions about its reliability to prove certain criminal acts. This is a descriptive bibliographic review of qualitative character where we will try to make evident the importance of DNA evidence and forensic genetics in criminal proceedings. Science is advancing more and more and so are the techniques used in the analysis of DNA evidence, thus incorporating specialized methodologies in the investigation of crimes. Courts have recognized that DNA evidence can be more rel...

The present article seeks to make known the probative treatment of compliance programs in a criminal proceeding followed against a legal entity. It is necessary to execute a compliance program within a company to achieve effective control and prevention of risks. It also details how the legal entity, in its status as a procedural subject, must prove the effectiveness of said compliance program in order to be exempt from liability for the commission of an offense carried out by a manager or subordinate belonging to the business organization.

The oralization settlement in the labor process has implied a different dynamic from that previously had. But this has not been the only change in the labor reform. Therefore, the new procedural system has incorporated diversity legal process forms of settlement agreements. Thus, the employer or employee can exercise their right of action to resort to other mechanisms that resolve disagreement in the employment relationship. This new legislative method has brought us to establish two antagonistic positions: on the one hand, some who support the viability of applying the availability test based on private autonomy and the initiative of part in the process; and on the other hand, those who argue, under the principle of inalienability, the protective role that the judge should have against these processes.

In court, genetic evidence owns the privilege of irrefutability. Judges often use this means of proof uncritically, in other words, without any rational instrument. Rethinking DNA testing suggests a challenge that emphasizes the need for dialogue between law, epistemology and science. In particular, in the filiation process, despite the lack of an epistemic analysis of this scientific test, it has become the “ideal” evidentiary instrument to prove parent-child filiation. Although the particularities of this process, based on DNA, seek to protect the right to identity of minors, which is projected in its speedy nature; however, the risk of error that may exist is not always taken into consideration. In view of this situation, this paper seeks to identify the different cases of risk of error to which one is exposed in the process of filiation, when working with genetic evidence, among o...

This article aims to provide some initial notes in order to establish the suitability of applying the so-called «theory of the evidentiary dynamic loads» in the Peruvian civil process. This theory which provides a means to make more flexible, by way of exception, the rigidity of the general rule of distribution of burden of proof contained in article 196 of the Code of Civil Procedure, constitutes a contribution of the Argentine procedural doctrine to the general theory of the test and that despite not being regulated normatively, has been already received in various fields of our national law. In this line, then established the suitability of adoption at national headquarters, proposes a regulatory text for inclusion in the Peruvian civil procedural law.

The objective of this research was to meet the standard of performance of students from third to sixth grade of primary education in the constitutional province of Callao in the psychological processes of writing: lexical, syntactic and planning evaluated through testing that, within the framework of this investigation, we drew up, accept and apply in 804 students from third to sixth grade of four socio-economic levels (a-B); C, D and E) of the constitutional province of Callao. We find that the total sample noted difficulties in the performance of the write in all assessed processes, especially in the drafting of narrative texts and in the allocation of punctuation signs a given text. As regards the second objective of the research that was the find if there are differences in the tasks evaluated according to socioeconomic level are differences in processes lexicons all tasks less in th...

We extend the class of M-tests for a unit root analyzed by Perron and Ng (1996) and Ng and Perron (1997) to the case where a change in the trend function is allowed to occur at an unknown time. These tests M(GLS) adopt the GLS detrending approach of Dufour and King (1991) and Elliott, Rothenberg and Stock (1996) (ERS). Following Perron (1989), we consider two models: one allowing for a change in slope and the other for both a change in intercept and slope. We derive the asymptotic distribution of the tests as well as that of the feasible point optimal tests PT(GLS) suggested by ERS. The asymptotic critical values of the tests aretabulated. Also, we compute the non-centrality parameter used for the local GLS detrending that permits the tests to have 50% asymptotic power at that value. We show that the M(GLS) and PT(GLS) tests have an asymptotic power function close to the power envelope. ...

Today it is difficult for an SME to apply the Quality Models and proposed tests such as CMMI, TMMi,, TMap, IEEE Standard referring to the process of V & V, this primarily by: 1) the degree of complexity,; 2) cost constraints that SMEs do not have enough money to hire market specialists that can provide the directives they need or 3) simply because of the ignorance that exists about the benefits obtained. The present research has as main objective to develop a methodological framework Process Verification and Validation adjusted for socioeconomic reality of SME. The framework was applied to the project Inventory Control System of the Company QBOSS SAC, the initial situation of the company was analyzed, then the methodological framework developed was applied, and finally the results were positive for the organization.

This study was based on the psycholinguistics and cognitive theory believes that learning to read, candidates must have achieved a level of development in phonological awareness, knowledge of written language, verbal memory and semantic and syntactic levels of language oral. In this article we raised the consideration of these variables as predictors of learning reader in first grade children entering primary schools in the region of Callao. To fulfill that purpose, we designed and validated TEST PRE-READING SKILLS (THP), consisting of four subtests, the first to evaluate phonological awareness, the second, which assesses knowledge of the name and sound of the letters, the third which assesses verbal memory, and finally, the fourth which assesses the syntactic and semantic components of oral language. Reliability was estimated by Cronbach’s alpha and Spearman-Brown coefficient. Was det...

Background: university life is defined by the multiple demands that students face. Exams are events of great concern that can trigger harmful stress responses. The perception of self-efficacy to achieve goals has a modulating effect on cognitive, emotional and behavioral processes. Objective: to analyze the relationship and influence between stress coping self-efficacy, cognitive test anxiety and physical and psychoemotional stress symptomatology in university students in a pandemic context. Method: cross-sectional descriptive-correlational design. 314 university students participated (M = 23, SD = 6.05). Results: significant correlations were found between the variables examined. The proposed model showed that stress coping self-efficacy (efficacy and outcome) and cognitive test anxiety explain 39% physical and psychoemotional stress symptomatology variance. Conclusions: students presen...

This paper examines how implementing an Engineering Processes Laboratory (extrinsic factors) led to the non-dissatisfaction of Industrial Engineering students with the quality of teaching in said course. The study used the factor 10-SINEACE (National System of Evaluation, Accreditation and Certification of Educational Quality) and Herzberg’s theory to measure this impact. This measurement was performed on a representative sample of students of the Engineering Processes course through a laboratory test. Data was collected on the laboratory equipment requirements and students’ needs and was then analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U statistical test. The results showed that the teaching quality was “not dissatisfactory”, providing statistical evidence of the positive impact of the Engineering Process Laboratory.

The application of different unit root statistics is by now a standard practice in empirical work. Even when it is a practical issue, these statistics have complex nonstandard distributions depending on functionals of certain stochastic processes, and their derivations represent a barrier even for many theoretical econometricians. These derivations are based on rigorous and fundamental statistical tools which are not (very) well known by standard econometricians. This paper aims to fill this gap by explaining in a simple way one of these fundamental tools: namely, the Functional Central Limit Theorem. To this end, this paper analyzes the foundations and applicability of two versions of the Functional Central Limit Theorem within the framework of a unit root with a structural break. Initial attention is focused on the probabilistic structure of the time series to be considered. Thereafter...

Faced with a context of global integration and growth of agricultural exports in Peru. The objective of the research was to examine the effected of the Agrarian Promotion Law (law 27360) and world demand during the period 2001- 2018 on the export of the food group of processed food and agro-based products in Peru. The methodology evaluated using the Johansen co-integration test and the Granger causality test: world demand (world Imports) and exports of processed food and agro-based products from the countries of the Andean Community (CAN), where only two members (Peru and Ecuador) had laws to promote the agricultural. Our results showed that there is no causality between the exports of each member of the CAN and world demand in the food group, meanwhile, existed a long-term relationship between exports from Peru and Ecuador with world demand in the food group. The research concluded that...

The scientific advances have greatly influenced the perception of the facts, generating some objectivation of the perception of the proof . In the past, many decisions were made on the basis of common sense and presumptions. This is reduced by the performance of more reliable evidence, which can generate a better conviction in the judge or legal operator. In this article, the author develops the effects that scientific evidence has had on legal practitioners, such as judges. Also, a theoretical framework will be proposed to understand this type of test, taking as reference emblematic cases.
