Peruvian retail market today, more than ever, has turned the phrase “everything goes through the eyes” into a competitive tool. The design and optimization of space, as well as visual merchandising, are techniques that impact the sale new concepts such as omnicanality and buying experience are fed by data analytics in order to describe the commercial mode; and new qualitative sources of information, among them color theory, specially help to understand and predict the impact of future decisions on the point of sale. This paper describes the utility of image processing techniques to innovate the retail market in the effort to extract useful information from advertising pieces frequently used in this sector.

This research sought to describe the teaching strategies used by teachers in the interaction processes of first grade students in two educational institutions in Lima. The technique used was, in the first place, observation, for which a field notebook and a checklist were used. Second, interviews were applied to teachers. Among the finds, the significance of the strategies employed, such as teamwork, dynamics of integration and assignment of roles in the modes of interaction of first grade students, was evidenced. Likewise, certain predominant attitudes were observed among some students, which evidenced the establishment of both horizontal and vertical interactions.

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the realization of classes through virtual platforms and made the teacher evaluation, instead of positively reflecting the level of knowledge, evidenced a low performance of the students, in this case, of the Preparatory No. 7 of the Autonomous University of Guerrero, Mexico. To explain this problem, qualitative research was carried out with descriptive and interpretative scope. 50 students were interviewed, and a structured questionnaire with ten open-ended questions was developed. The main results indicated that students perceive that traditional assessment does not reflect their knowledge, but incipient learning, stress and anxiety, so they suggested modifying the assessment process.

La matriz FODA es la herramienta de análisis por excelencia para fines de negocios, y se enseña en cursos de pregrado y postgrado. Sin embargo, se entiende que la elección de los factores críticos de éxito (FCEs) que se incluyen en la matriz para el análisis es un proceso muy subjetivo y no estructurado, que da cabida a sesgos y arbitrariedad. Una forma de dar una mejor base y respaldo a los resultados del análisis es mediante la utilización del Proceso Jerárquico Analítico (AHP) con el fin de ponderar la importancia de los FCEs en la matriz FODA y aumentar la fiabilidad de los resultados. Este documento contiene el diseño de una estrategia para enseñar este tema en un curso de planificación de marketing, con la adición de una técnica útil para superar las limitaciones de la herramienta.

This research will serve as a precedent for other studies that aim to improve the production processes of textile and apparel companies by proposing a preventive solution for excess fabric waste that results from the production process. The study will also provide insights into reducing the amount of excess fabric waste in the marking and cutting areas via the manufacture of additional clothing items and accessories. Consequently, by efficiently allocating resources to make optimal use of seasonal material, costs can be reduced, ultimately leading to improved profitability for the textile knitwear company.

The business context has been affected by the action of Covid 19, and companies must react to this new reality. The research analyzes people, processes and technology and their effect on the development of the respective business strategy in small companies in Huancayo, Peru. The objective of this work was to analyze the environmental performance and the potentialities of applying cleaner production mechanisms (CP) in the Association of producers of fine aroma cocoa "Tsatsayaku". The CP tools used were the initial environmental review, ecomaps, and process analysis. The results show that mucilage and cocoa husk generation are the main environmental problems of the process. Two improvement options were proposed and evaluated to control and reduce process contamination. The analysis shows a B / C ratio of 1.38 and the Net Present Value is $ 36,001.37 with an Internal Rate of Return of 249.29%.
