The COVID-19 pandemic triggered a social crisis that temporarily affected the entire world population.Predictions of a massive damage to mental health have not been confirmed, but some vulnerable populations have beendisproportionately affected by the infection and the social measures thereby implemented. Many women's mental healthhas deteriorated due to their higher exposure as most of the so-called “essential workers”, and to the larger burden ofresponsibilities they had to shoulder. People at both extremes of the life cycle share common vulnerability factors and wereexposed to isolation and the unavailability of formal support networks in the face of closure of schools, health andrecreational services. The aim of the present study was to observe if there are differences in the level of the burnout dimensions between teachers who have experienced symptoms or health problems in the last year and those who have not  in a sample of 223 teachers working in educational institutions (elementary school level). The results of the t test showed significant differences between the groups of teachers, specifically in the dimensions of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization, showing higher values in the group of teachers who reported suffering fr...

This article addresses the problem of the moral wrong present in rape. To do so, it undertakes an analysis of John Gardner's proposal on the subject. Then, identifying what Gardner calls a pure case of rape, it explores the nature and characteristics of consent as a normative transformer. To this end, it addresses the discussion, within the philosophy of action, on what is the ontology of consent. Finally, and as a consequence of holding that consent is a mental state, some problems related to the knowledge of other people’s mental states, traditionally addressed as the problem of other minds in the philosophy of mind, are raised. Some consequences for the evidentiary analysis in cases of rape crimes are drawn from this analysis.
