Multisensory integration is a fundamental neural mechanism crucial for understanding cognition. Multiple theoretical models exist to account for the computational processes underpinning this mechanism. However, there is an absence of a consolidated framework that facilitates the examination of multisensory integration across diverse experimental and computational contexts. We introduce Scikit-NeuroMSI, an accessible Python-based open-source framework designed to streamline the implementation and evaluation of computational models of multisensory integration. The capabilities of Scikit-NeuroMSI were demonstrated in enabling the implementation of multiple models of multisensory integration at different levels of analysis. Furthermore, we illustrate the utility of the software in systematically exploring the model’s behavior in spatiotemporal causal inference tasks through parameter sweep...

So far, Peruvian nuclear research reactors RP-10 and RP-0 have been operating only with uranium oxide fuel elements (U3O8+Al). In the future RP-10 reactor will operate with mixed cores (U3Si2+Al, U3O8+Al). For this reason the calculus capacity has to be increased in order to be able to handle the new fuel management. Since preparation of nuclear libraries for diffusion calculation requires a significant amount of computational and human resources a new tool that processes libraries generation and diffusion calculations is necessary.

The legal profession is in the process of adapting to a globalized world that is increasingly international. This globalization of law goes hand in hand with the internationalization of the economy and politics. The answer is the internationalization of law. Today we can see how legal matters, clients, conflict, court, knowledge, institutional life and therefore internationalize the occupation. All this leads us to the lawyer should know integration processes occurring mainly for economic reasons such as the European Union and the Andean Community of Nations, but these processes have also led to the internal rules are changed based on the decisions of international tribunals, in this context, counsel should handle international law and how we engage national law these decisions at the supranational level. To achieve this goal the professional law must handle not only theoretical knowledg...

This article aims to integrate business processes in the field of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs, or PYMES for its acronym in Spanish). The integration will be achieved through the development of web applications based on integration architectures, such as Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web services. The integration of business processes allows companies to join their business objectives, as well as optimize processes based on the concept of service. To achieve an optimal communication between companies and their clients through the services, various web standards were used, including: XML as standard format to describe the data; SOAP as data exchange protocol; WSDL to describe available services; and finally UDDI to publish information and check what web services are available.

This work was developed in order to implement the PINCH technology integration batch process for carminic acid. The method used consisted of the application of the concepts of bottle necks total process (OPB) together with part-time models (TAM) and time fractionated! (TSM). The drying operation is identified as the rate limiting step of the process identifying it as an OPB plant capacity. The extraction yield was 95% w / p carminic acid with an energy savings of approximately 60% of the conventional requirement.

The present article describes the process of construction of a Family Integration Inventory which contents 52 items distributed in a Likert scale, and has optimum criteria of validity and reliability (α = .739). We obtain a KMO value of .922 which admits the factorization of the instrument As result of the factorial analysis applied in two moments we finally have a unidimensional inventory. Moreover, we settle the percentiles in three levels of family integration: high, medium and low.

Borders are spaces where relations between the local population and the different levels of government, whether national or subnational, are condensed. Therefore, it is relevant to create border areas of peace and sustainable development, based on regional cohesion, social integration, and territoriality, which contributes to the reduction of tensions between countries and consolidates the processes of integration and continuous cooperation. Particularly, the borders of Brazil and Peru have a strategic relevance due to their biodiversity, geographic location, presence of lakes and rivers and because it is a space for the economic development. The reason for developing this article is that Brazil and Peru have a series of border dynamics, whether territorial, social, commercial and economic. The objective of the article is to analyze the border regions between Peru...

This essay analyzes the economic integration process among Latin American countries. These countries followed a model of import-substitution industrialization (ISI). This kind of policies did not permit sustained growth, but they can be promoted by economic and commercial integration of the region. This integration must be part of the new trends of world development based on the economic globalization. Furthermore, it should be oriented toward coordination of macroeconomic policies among participants

This article examines the achievements and limits of the economic integration process in the Andean Community of Nations (CAN) subregion during the period 1989-2005. In accordance to the «open regionalism» approach embraced by CAN along that period, progress is assessed both in regards to the «internal agenda» and to the «external agenda» of Andean integration. Main achievements are the full completion of the subregional free trade zone and successful negotiations with the United States, the EU and Mercosur. Whereas main limitations are found in the incapability to establish a customs union among all CAN members and to conduct community trade negotiations with third countries. Both short comings reflecting difficulties yet to be overcome to duly adopt the exigent European model of integration, as well as unequal national capacities to take profit from the subregional market benefi...

The article reviews the main definitions and theories of economic integration, emphasizing the importance and stages of the process. It also discusses the relationship of integration with national policies and new theories of integration into the global context; with particular interest is the review of the so-called new Regionalism and ECLAC’s Open Regionalism proposal. The author makes a proposal by adding to the well-known stages of economic integration presented by Bela Balassa in the early sixties of the twentieth century, an intermediate stage of integration of citizen organizations, to give it social and political content to the integrative process.

This research evaluates the relationship of social capital with the integration of processes in the supply chain management in companies of the real sector in Colombia, mediated by their organizational size and the uncertainty of the environment. For this purpose, 232 companies associated to the real sector in Colombia were surveyed and with the information obtained, multivariate analysis of structural equations was made with the SPSS and AMOS tools. As a result, there is a significant direct relationship between social capital and the integration of processes in the supply chain management, thus social capital was identified as a fundamental determinant in efforts to integrate the supply chain, unlike the mediating variables analyzed (size and uncertainty of the environment).
