In this psychometric research he aim was to value the validity and the reliability of the Hendrick and Hendrick Love Attitudes Scale, in a sample of 106 students of the acreer of Psychology from a private university in Arequipa City (Peru). This is a preliminar and exploratory study that follows the classic and factor test theory criteria. The results indicate that the scale has a three factor structure that explain the 38,64% of the total variance. 29 items were deleted and only three love styles were remain: Storge, Mania and Agape, which obtain adequate reliability indexes.

En esta investigación psicométrica se analiza la estructura interna y la confiabilidad de la Escala de Timidez revisada de Cheek y Buss (1981), en un amuestra de 104 estudiantes universitarios de la carrea de Psicología de una universidad privada de la ciudad de Arequipa, de los cuales el 74% fueron mujeres y el 26% varones con una edad media de 19 años. Se trata de un estudio preliminar y exploratorio que sigue los criterios de la teoría clásica de los tests y la teoría factorial. Los resultados indican que la prueba tiene una estructura de dos factores que explica el 70.5% de la varianza total. Los factores encontrados mediante AFE verifican la estructura interna reportada por Caycho et al. (2013), con óptimos índices de confiabilidad mediante la prueba Alfa de Cronbach (α= .805; α= .914), pero se tuvo que eliminar el ítem 7 debido a que saturaba en ambos factores.

The objective of this study was to analyze some occurrence features of working accidents in three sectors of production (Industry, Mining and construction) at Arequipa City since 2000 to 2009. We work with bibliometrical method in a descriptive research design, in which analysis units were 3653 newspapers of the city, where there were extracted the data related to working accidents in the city by using a register file specially designed. We found that the most vulnerable sector was industry, and it is followed by construction and mining, because of the occurrence of accidents, perhaps the mortal victims are more in sector of construction. In three sectors there is a tendency to downsize accidents, which is marked in construction. Moreover, the types of accidents registered most frequent were drops, cuts, explosions and intoxications. In this study, the relationship between organizational climate and interpersonal relationships at work were analyzed in order to estimate the impact the first has on the second, and vice versa. To that end, 73 workers from a private business from Arequipa were evaluated using the Likert Organizational Profile and the Workplace Interpersonal Relationships Satisfaction Scale. The results suggest that there are positive and moderate correlations between variables, and that organizational climate has predictive power on interpersonal relationships at work, but not in the opposite way.

La finalidad del presente trabajo es analizar las características de la ocurrencia de accidentes laborales en tres sectores socioproductivos (industria, minería y construcción) de la ciudad de Arequipa durante los años 2000 y 2009. Se trabajó con el método bibliométrico un estudio de corte descriptivo, en el que las unidades de análisis fueron 3,653 ejemplares de un periódico de la localidad (diario Correo) de las que se extrajeron datos de los accidentes laborales ocurridos en la ciudad a través de una ficha de registro. Se encontró que el sector más vulnerable es el industrial seguido del de construcción y de minería, debido a que la ocurrencia de accidentabilidad es mayor en la industria, aunque las víctimas mortales se registran más en el sector construcción. En el presente estudio se analizan las relaciones entre el clima organizacional y las relaciones interpersonales con la finalidad de valorar el impacto la primera sobre la segunda, y viceversa. Para ello se evaluó a 73 trabajadores de una empresa privada de Arequipa con el Perfil Organizacional de Likert y la Escala de Satisfacción de las Relaciones Interpersonales en el Trabajo. Los resultados sugieren que existen relaciones moderadas y positivas entre las variables y que el clima organizacional a través de la dimensión de estándares, tiene poder predictivo sobre las relaciones interpersonales en el trabajo, mas no a la inversa.

En este artículo revisamos la vida y obra de Carlos Alberto Seguín (1907-1995), uno de los psiquiatras más representativos del Perú, que contribuyó a difundir los saberes psicológicos y promovió el desarrollo de la medicina psicosomática en América Latina y planteó ideas originales en campos como la psiquiatría social y la psicoterapia, desde perspectivas psicoanalíticas y existencialistas. Presentamos primero un recorrido de sus primeros años y su formación como psiquiatra y psicoanalista, para luego dedicarnos al análisis de su obra y su participación en diversos eventos y organizaciones como la Sociedad Interamericana de Psicología. Además, se hace una revisión de su faceta docente, literaria y editorial.

In this article, the links between university social responsibility and the professional training of psychologists in Peru are critically reviewed. For this, the current situation of the academicprofessional aspects related to university education in the country is first reviewed, specifically in the psychology career. Then, relevant aspects of corporate social responsibility are explained, leading to university social responsibility, and its implications in the training of Peruvian psychologists. Finally, some conclusions on the points discussed are presented.

In the following research, we present a descriptive analysis of the application of an Attitudes towards Politics Questionnaire to a sample of 875 people who live in Arequipa City. The sample consists of 416 men and 459 women, whose average age is 38 years old. The questionnaire has 11 items and two dimensions: (Governability and Political participation) with proper levels of validity and reliability (α= 0.730). The results indicate that attitudes towards politics are negative, from which attitudes towards Politics participation are more positive than towards Governability.

The article makes a review about the concept of prosocial behavior, its origin from social psychology, its foundations and theoretical explanations related to positive psychology. The production over positive psychology in Lima and Arequipa, as well as the models of intervention based on prosocial behavior and positive emotions are analyzed in a brief way.

We obtain a KMO value of .922 which admits the factorization of the instrument As result of the factorial analysis applied in two moments we finally have a unidimensional inventory. Moreover, we settle the percentiles in three levels of family integration: high, medium and low.

El 5 de junio último, Jerome Bruner falleció en New York, de manera imprevista, pero a la vez indolora y apacible. Bruner ha sido uno de los psicólogos más influyentes del siglo XX a través de su labor académica en los campos de la psicología educativa y la psicología narrativa, donde ha alcanzado notoriedad, pero también se ha dedicado a la psicología militar, a la psicología culturalista y, más recientemente, a la psicología forense (Arias, 2015).
