Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is considered a neurodevelopmental disorder, whose prevalence has increased in recent years, showing in some cases deficits in the cognitive area, with processing speed (PS) being one of the affected variables. Therefore, the present study aims to: 1) compare the scores obtained in relation to the PS variable between students aged 6 to 11 with ASD and their peers with neurotypical development in Metropolitan Lima; and 2) establish the PS profile of the included students with ASD. Se realizó una investigación epidemiológica transversal para determinar los factores de riesgo asociados a la diseminación de brucelosis a los humanos en centro procesadores de leche y mataderos de siete cantones de la provincia Manabí, Ecuador, entre septiembre y noviembre de 2015. Se realizó un censo para determinar las unidades que elaboraban subproductos lácteos y los mataderos. Se seleccionaron 119 lecherías dedicadas a la elaboración de productos lácteos artesanalmente, siete mataderos y siete centros procesadores de productos lácteos, y se caracterizaron en cuanto a los tipos de productos que elaboran y la presencia de factores de riesgo como causales de brucelosis en humanos. A cross-sectional epidemiological investigation was carried out to determine the risk factors associated with the dissemination of brucellosis to humans in milk processing centres and slaughterhouses in seven cantons of the province of Manabí, Ecuador, between September and November 2015. A census was conducted to quantify farms processing milk, milk processing centres and slaughterhouses. A total of 119 dairy farms, seven slaughterhouses and seven milk processing centres were selected. They were characterized in terms of the types of products produced and on the presence of risk factors as causes of brucellosis in humans. The presence of antibodies against Brucella spp was determined in raw milk by the milk ring test. Results showed that 97.6% of the units make a single product (artisanal cheese). El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo principal, determinar la relación que existe entre los errores que se cometen en la toma y procesado de radiografías periapicales y las clínicas integrales I, 11, III y Geriátrica de la Facultad de Odontología-UNAP, 2006-2011. El tipo de investigación fue cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, correlacional, transversal y retrospectivo. La muestra fue de 281 historias clínicas, tomadas del archivo de historias de la clínicaodontológica, facultad de odontología, en las cuales se encontraron 566 radiografías periapicales de diagnóstico, que fueron el objeto del presente estudio. There is a growing concern in environmental pollution levels of the neighboring ecosystems fruit processing plant by the discharge of untreated industrial effl uents and proper control of the authorities, because many of them have not considered the management their effl uents into the design of the plant. The objective of this research is to characterize and manage the processing effl uent. We conclude that the processing effl uents have a high potential for contamination by the abundant organic load and that have achieved the primary treatment of this potential reduction to acceptable limits by Peruvian law (98.1% turbidity removal and reduction of BOD Oxygen 96.58%), allowing the reduction of water consumption, release of hardship and its incorporation as a business friendly environment for approval of environmental authorities and the community as a whole.

La biorremediación de suelos contaminados por hidrocarburos es una técnica que consiste en usar organismos vivos para el consumo de los hidrocarburos de petróleo en el suelo. The objective of this study was to define a technology package, in order to provide an inventory of the technologies used during the processing of the Peruvian green coffee with specialty coffee qualities to export, supported by a technological management perspective. The methodology relied on a technology package construction, by identifying, describing and quantifying four of its components, based on a systematic literature review, and five professional’s endorsements; each of them knowledgeable of the technologies used in agricultural products processing.
