This article presents the results of research carried out by the National University of Engineering to generate electricity from biogas, with the purpose of electrifying native populations located in the Alto Marañón region in the Department of Amazonas. The necessary fuel was obtained from a biogas pilot plant, Olade-Guatemala type of 5m³/day, from the former Industrial Technological Research and Technical Standards Institute, ITINTEC, recovered at the National Industrial Work Training Service Unit, SENATI, from Villa El Salvador. On the other hand, the production of clean energies such as biogas from cattle manure has become an important energy resource. This work focuses on the calculation and validation of the parameters used for the generation of flows of maximum avenues along 16 points of interest in the main channel of the Biabo river. Due to insufficient information from meteorological and hydrometric measurements within the basin, the daily precipitation grid information from the PISCO database v2.1 of SENAMHI was used, the model of frequency duration curves from the ILLA-SENAMHI-UNI study, and the Snyder unit hydrograph, and the results obtained were calibrated based on the records of maximum flows from the Requena-Biabo hydrometric station. Thus, for example, for the Requena-Biabo station basin, the comparison between the flows of maximum floods generated with the flows recorded in for different return times, the error obtained fluctuates between ± 5%.

This paper describes the implementation of a tool for automated generation of user stories from a graphical model. The objective-oriented modeling approach is applied, which uses the notation i*. The main rationale is that the business objective is not the one that changes, but the ways in which it can be achieved. Once the requirements are compiled through this model, user stories are generated automatically for later traceability. These comply with the basic standard proposed in agile methodologies ensuring that, when arriving at the hands of the developer, there are no ambiguities in either of the two perspectives: graphical and narrative. Fine particles in tailings generated from the flotation of ores were observed. By using Field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), the fine particles were observed at submicron level with high resolution. For the cross section observation, the tailing samples were prepared by cross section polishing. With the combination of these techniques, we determined the distributions of the heavy metals and metalloids in the fine particles. As a result, when the particle surfaces were observed, the detection of Pb, Sb, Fe and/or As indicated that these elements coexist or separately exist in the 1−3 μm fine particles. In the cross section observation, the concentrations of Zn and Fe were found to be different in the particles.

In this article, experimentally and using the Ground Sample Distance (GSD) parameter, the relationship between the drone's flight height and the identification of objects for the generation of cartography is analyzed. Scheduled flights were made at different heights, with respect to the takeoff level and considering the height of the huaca of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, using a multi-rotor drone, which generated orthophotos with different GSD and allowed to conclude the potential use of the drone to large-scale mapping generation.

The purpose of this quantitative correlational research was to determine how the leadership style of the school principal relates to the work motivation of Millennials Generation employees. The theoretical framework that founded the research problem was the existentialist humanist theory of Ortega. The sample was made up of 176 participants from the Ponce region of the Puerto Rico Department of Education. To collect the data, the extrinsic and intrinsic motivation instrument, and the Leader Behavior Analysis II (LBAII) were used. From the data, a profile of the study participants was established. The main result showed that there is a significant relationship between the leadership style of the director and the motivation of the Millennials generation teachers.

The elaboration of Biol II-G was proposed to improve the properties of Biol I-G from cows, coming from a 10 m3 tubular biodigester which registered average values of 7.05 pH and electrical conductivity 5.01 dS/m. For the preparation, lactic fermentation was carried out for a period of 5 days. The parameters that were evaluated in the biol samples were pH, lactic acidity, macronutrients (N, P, K), micronutrients, heavy and microbiological metals. The low pH in the fermentation ensured the elimination of pathogenic microorganisms. The results of the phytotoxicity test determined that the biol diluted to 0.1% contributed to the growth of lettuce.

The purpose of this study was twofold: to reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG) produced by the anaerobic lagoons of the San José (Lambayeque) wastewater treatment plant; and to obtain a renewable energy source that could make the plant self‐sustaining. Initially, information on the current state of the system and on the plant operating conditions was collected.
