La matemática desde sus inicios ha intentado describir la realidad en cual se vive, a través del tiempo ha ido apoyando a las diferentes ciencias las cuales mediante este soporte formal y abstracto ha sido enormemente fortalecido con el tiempo generando modelos matemáticos, formulas, expresiones que puedan resolver problemas reales en la medida que se pueda. Por mientras, que la economía donde se estudia y analiza los diferentes fenómenos que involucran la dinámica de generación de bienes y recursos, servicios y procesos en el mercado, por lo cual la economía ha necesitado de la matemática para formalizar de manera lógica con expresiones formales y abstractas pero con interpretaciones aplicadas a la realidad.

Después de un excelente perfil de crecimiento económico en China durante la primera década del siglo XXI, este país experimenta una crisis de modelo de acumulación. El presente documento tiene por objeto desarrollar un marco teórico que parte de un esquema que emplea los criterios de la economía política para explicar que el problema por el cual atraviesa el gigante del Asia, no se resolverá recurriendo principalmente a las políticas convencionales de tipo macroeconómico monetario, concernientes a las reformas estructurales requeridas.

In Lima, as in other large Latin American cities, the daily experience of its inhabitants is framed by relations of inequality that go beyond the great economic differences normalized in capitalist societies. Urban inequality is presented as a multidimensional phenomenon in which its main components and the way they interact with each other is not universal, but have been constructed and structured throughout the history of each society, following the specific characteristics of each urban center, so we can refer of an intersectional inequality. El objetivo del trabajo es analizar el comportamiento cinemático y dinámico de la excavadora hidráulica Komatsu-PC4000, con ayuda de Working Model, software de simulación que permite simplificar los cálculos de velocidades, aceleraciones y fuerzas presentes en la máquina de trabajo al momento de realizar las actividades de excavación, carga y descarga del fosfato en la mina. Para obtener el modelo esquemático que se usó para realizar los cálculos necesarios, se hace uso de la herramienta CAD SolidWorks, la cual permitió tener una geometría aproximada tanto en distancias como en forma de la excavadora Komatsu. La élite ilustrada de fines del siglo XVIII y comienzos del XIX comprendió el concepto de patriotismo de dos maneras distintas; se propone el término “patriotismo utilitarista” para hacer referencia al promovido por la Sociedad de Amantes del País y “patriotismo republicano” a la opción difundida por Hipólito Unanue en el periódico Nuevo Día del Perú (1824), el cual sería válido extrapolar al resto de partidarios del régimen republicano después de proclamarse la independencia del Perú. Al explorar los fundamentos éticos y los modelos de sociedad e ideales de gobierno relativos a ambas formas de patriotismo, se evidencia la complejidad que supuso la recepción de dicho concepto por un determinado grupo social y se reconoce su relevancia dentro de la historia del pensamiento político peruano.

Digital transformation is driven by new digital technologies, which are strongly impacting value chains, forms of organization and production, distribution channels, business models and the way in which innovation is carried out in companies and their allies. For this reason, it is important to understand the phenomenon, size it and develop organizational design proposals that facilitate managing it appropriately. Considering the above, this article aims to identify the relationship between digital transformation and innovation in companies, to determine how capabilities can be developed that allow reinforcing innovation processes. To this end, a model is proposed that correlates the management of digital technology and innovation with digital transformation, in such a way that there is a reference framework, guidelines and tools for its organizational deployment.

It is a fact well documented by economic theory that high and durable inflation has a negative effect on economic growth, but that as the effects on the latter decline, they are non-linear. This work answers two research questions related to the works that have studied this empirical relationship in the last three decades. The first is about its external validity: How useful are they to predict the economic evolution of emerging countries? BERT produces state-of-the-art solutions for many natural language processing tasks at the cost of interpretability. As works discuss the value of BERT’s attention weights to this purpose, we contribute with an attention-based interpretability framework to identify the most influential words for stance classification using BERT-based models. Unlike related work, we develop a broader level of interpretability focused on the overall model behavior instead of single instances. We aggregate tokens’ attentions into words’ attention weights that are more meaningful and can be semantically related to the domain. Proteins are versatile biopolymers in living systems that show a great diversity of functions based on the order of their amino acids. Many protein functions, whether mechanical or regulatory, emerge from interactions with other proteins and macromolecules. This dissertation describes the development and adaptation of new computational models to investigate structural and dynamic properties of protein interactions. Two main systems were investigated: the regulation of the actin cytoskeleton and the control of DNA transcription by nuclear factor B (NF-kB). This article analyzes the programs adopted by the Chilean Government for the value assessment of its built heritage. Value assessment is a recognition of the present values in these monuments. This recognition is effective only when it carries the necessary measures for the conservation, recovery and evaluation of the edification. In that sense, the concept of sustainability concept is indispensable for understanding heritage management in the long-term. Considering this, in the article the criteria that has been used for the development of the value assessment program of Chilean heritage, in particular regarding the implemented management models, are described, for these are the instruments that make possible the sustainability and conservation of the built heritage long term in the long term.

The objective of this research is to analyze the impact of material variables on the satisfaction of democracy in Latin America. The hypothesis that guides this research is that material variables such as security, poverty reduction, equity and employment have a significant impact on the satisfaction of Latin American citizens with their democratic regimes. The research showed that the material variables are significant for understanding citizen satisfaction with democracy. Material variables explain more than 30% of the satisfaction, or dissatisfaction, of democracy in the region. The most demonstrative variables in the satisfaction of democracy are the poverty gap, and then the victimization rate.
