This study unfolds in two stages. The first stage aims to describe the diverse and expanded experiences that students enrolled in the Teacher Training and Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education undergo throughout their formative process. The second stage explores the most frequently mentioned educational territories—university classrooms, professional practices, and socio-community practices—to understand students’ perceptions of how these environments foster academic engagement. A quantitative research design was employed, with a total sample of 120 future educators from the National University of Río Cuarto, who voluntarily completed two instruments: an ad hoc questionnaire and a standardized survey. The results indicate that each educational territory promotes different dimensions of academic engagement and complements the others.

The objective of the research was to provide a new perspective to the profile of the university evaluator, with better alternatives, purposes, and scientific-academic scope. We know that the profile of the university evaluator must meet high academic and social requirements to achieve a better educational system consistent with the social environment. However, the problem is that few evaluators are properly trained to carry out a task that involves the scientific measurement of the processes of the university community. Consequently, we propose as a thesis to redefine the work of the university evaluator with clearly marked values and visions for a systematic academic advance. The research methodology has followed the analytical-reflexive qualitative approach. It is concluded that the university evaluator must be predisposed to change from methods, forms, and practices that give a ...

In this article we try to reflect on the recently discovered logic of practical knowledge and its consequences for education and educational policies. This logic manifests itself in the process of socialization, which concatenates units of meaning that are social practices with implied and never formulated rules that require skills that the child acquires building its own universe of meaning. This is the frame of reference of the Young child: common sence and not his knowledge of the world, because his only source of knowledge is his language and his community. It is this process which evidences the real logic of language, because the way language is acquiered that is how it is. And only recognizing the dominant place that the logic of the practical knowledge has, is that we can lay the groundwork for a pertinent and intercultural education that can avoid the problems of cultural rejecti...
