The present investigation sought to describe the approach to citizen competence in secondary education of the Paraguayan educational system, in order to determine its contribution in the formation of young people, who must participate in a critical, constructive and reflective way in the society that experiences a weak democracy. The study is approached from documentary research, with a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings show that, although citizenship competencies are present in the curriculum, the ways of addressing it in the study programs are not specifically established, as well as, it is inferred that they can be identified as an exclusive requirement for the disciplines of the Social Sciences and not so for the other disciplines that are part of the academic component. This comparative study analyzes the initial teacher training in Paraguay regarding the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) across different socioeconomic regions of the country. A quantitative approach was employed, with a descriptive scope and a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 476 prospective teachers from 11 officially managed teacher training institutes nationwide. The findings reveal significant convergences and divergences concerning the availability of technological resources, the training received, and attitudes toward ICT. The Central-Southern region shows the greatest shortage of technological resources, although all regions share the need to improve technological infrastructure and training in the use of these technologies. The objective of the research is to analyze the work stress of teachers of the 1st and 2nd cycles of Basic School Education (EEB) in Paraguay. The methodology used was descriptive, quantitative, cross-sectional, applying a questionnaire to 75 teachers from official educational institutions in the city of Encarnación. The results show that teachers present an average level of work stress, taking into account the dimensions, the average level is presented in emotional exhaustion and personal fulfillment for teachers of both sexes, but not in depersonalization. The presence of work stress occurs at different levels in relation to demographic variables such as age, years of experience in teaching, shift in which he teaches, and the location of the institution, be it urban or rural, where he teaches.
