El objetivo de este trabajo de Tesis es realizar un estudio de las características y del desempeño del protocolo SCTP (Stream Control Transmission Protocol) y contrastarlo con los protocolos clásicos de la capa de transporte. SCTP es un protocolo que trabaja en la capa de transporte, el cual diferencia de TCP que permite crear un solo canal de transmisión, con SCTP se puede crear diversos canales de conexión que trabajan en paralelo, de esta manera la transmisión es más rápida entre cliente y servidor. Todo el trabajo se realiza con aplicaciones existentes que funcionan bajo el entorno de Linux con el objetivo de mostrar los beneficios al usar SCTP en lugar de TCP, además se muestran herramientas útiles para crear aplicaciones que trabajen sobre SCTP ya que este trabajo de Tesis de Pregrado es el trabajo previo para una posterior Tesis de Maestría o de Doctorado.

The efficacy of preventive analgesia and the cardiopulmonary effects of morphine or methadone in rabbits undergoing experimental skin surgery were evaluated and compared. Thirty-six rabbits were randomly assigned to three experimental groups: Control, Morphine, and Methadone. The rabbits received midazolam 1 mg/kg IM associated with: placebo (NaCl 0.9%) 0.05 ml/kg, methadone 0.5 mg/kg or morphine 0.5 mg/kg, depending on the experimental group. Anaesthesia was induced and maintained with isoflurane. In vitro micropropagation of pitahaya has been presented as an alternative for obtaining high quality plant material and mass production in reduced and controlled spaces. The present study aimed to achieve in vitro regeneration of shoots and roots of H. guatemalensis from areoles and their survival during ex vitro acclimatization. Different treatments with culture media, growth regulators and substrates were evaluated to obtain plants with normal development. Shoot regeneration from areoles was achieved 14 days, enriching the Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium with different concentrations of benzylaminopurine (BAP). The effect of six cryoprotective solutions based on MgCl2 and methanol, in addtion with sucrose and 10% Aloe vera gel or 10% egg yolk, on the sperm viability in spermatophore and sperm mass of Litopenaeus vannamei was evaluated. Besides, cooling rates of -0.5, -1 and -2 °C/min were used until temperature reached -35, -80 and -100 °C prior to immersion in liquid nitrogen. The sperm viability rate was determined by eosin-nigrosin staining. The results showed that the solutions based on MgCl2, sucrose plus egg yolk or Aloe vera gel better preserved sperm viability in spermatophore (82.8 ± 2.3% and 72.6 ± 3.1%) and in sperm mass (83.4 ± 2.5% and 76 ± 1.1%) without significant differences with the control group (p>0.05). En esta pesquisa en lugar de definir más un protocolo propietario, se propone el protocolo RTCP de acuerdo a definición del IETF. La aplicación de la fuente transmisora usa los datos de los informes de estadísticas recibidos para el cálculo de las métricas de QOS. Basado en esas métricas se determina el estado de congestión de la red y ajusta la banda de acuerdo con las velocidades, intentando mantener la QOS dentro de límites aceptables.

This study focuses on developing an environmental management strategy to mitigate the environmental and health risks of hazardous waste at Support Hospital II-1 in the province of Bagua. The objectives include performing an initial diagnosis of the management of this waste, assessing the associated risks, and characterizing the key factors to propose an effective strategy. The methodology included the characterization of hazardous waste generated during a week, using descriptive statistics to analyze daily volume and weight data. Hospital staff participated through questionnaires and checklists according to NTS No. 144-2018-DISA-DIGESA regulations.
