The advance of artificial intelligence (AI) represents a challenge in various fields of knowledge due to the automation of various activities. This leads to investigate the impact of AI on the communicative competence of the Communication course. Thus, the study seeks to determine how artificial intelligence is related to the communicative competence of this area in high school students. For this purpose, the methodology used was quantitative orientation, cross-sectional design and descriptive-correlational level. The sample consisted of 45 secondary school students from three educational institutions, who were given two questionnaires. The research focuses on analyzing transmedia narratives when reporting on an earthquake from a national digital newspaper, an international one, and also the impact of Facebook when disseminating the event. The objective is to compare the content generated about the earthquake of April 16, 2016, in Ecuador through transmedia tools in El Comercio (Ecuador) and El País (Spain), and Facebook. The aim is to know the role of the audience as prosumers of information. The methodology applied was mixed: qualitative and quantitative; the sample analyzed was 1126 informative pieces from El Comercio, 44 from El País and 1155 Facebook mentions. A difusão das tecnologias de informação e comunicação (TIC) no Paraná está associada a iniciativas de desenvolvimento locais, ao longo dos anos 2000, por meio da formação de Arranjos Produtivos Locais (APLs) especializados e vinculados às diferentes regiões do estado (Região Metropolitana de Curitiba, Maringá e região, Ponta Grossa e região, Londrina e região, Região Sudoeste, Região Oeste). Esses APL estabeleceram programas voltados a temas de interesse comuns, notadamente o desenvolvimento de conhecimento em TIC, com ênfase na qualificação de mão de obra. Este trabajo evalúa la tecnología de comunicación Wi-SUN FAN, que es un perfil que forma parte de la alianza WI-SUN. En la literatura, las evaluaciones de esta tecnología son escasas en comparación con otras. Por tanto, es importante conocerla y verificar su aplicabilidad y limitaciones en los servicios para redes inteligentes. Para su evaluación, se analizaron métricas como el tiempo de convergencia, los mensajes de control, la latencia de la red y la tasa de entrega de paquetes. There is abundant literature on the distance between the training of Latin American communication and journalism graduates and the labor market demands. However, few studies are concerned with a historiographic analysis of the reasons for such distance. In order to understand these causes, we carried out a systematic historiographic documentary research. We worked with digital repositories and incorporated articles published in indexed journals, books and chapters from books by some of the region’s most renowned communication professionals. En este artículo se profundiza el impacto de las Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación (TIC) como innovación pedagógica y tecnológica en el aprendizaje del cálculo I, en estudiantes de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Nacional de San Cristóbal de Huamanga, 2020. Para ello, se aborda una investigación aplicada, nivel de investigación explicativa de diseño experimental con pre y postest, método inductivo analítico, se estableció una muestra de 31 estudiantes, los datos fueron recogidos a través de encuesta y prueba pedagógica virtual, haciendo uso las bondades de las TIC; se aplicó la prueba paramétrica t de Student de muestras independientes ordinal para la prueba de hipótesis con un nivel de confianza de 95% y significancia 5%. En el artículo se fundamentan propuestas, provenientes de la experiencia docente y la investigación, sobre modos de relación de naturaleza emancipatoria entre profesores y estudiantes sustentados en el uso de prácticas relacionales y comunicativas grupales y colaborativas. Desde referentes histórico-culturales, se argumenta la necesidad de quebrar la cultura tradicional de las universidades; y desarrollar prácticas intersubjetivas con base en el respeto, la simetría en las relaciones, la afectividad y la colaboración. Se argumenta la factibilidad de los grupos como base para este cambio en las instituciones educativas. Por último, se vinculan estas propuestas, desarrolladas desde la psicología social, con el modelo de aprendizaje colaborativo.

This research sought to study the communication conditions in an educational institute with the purpose of knowing the effectiveness of the communicational interchanges between the parts involved and with the purpose of designing a tool to improve the communication between students, teachers, principals and parents. The efficiency of the communication was analyzed, as well as the benefits they obtain from it. The qualitative method was used to obtain their opinion through interviews. The collected information was used to design a technological platform that would allow keeping communication, taking into account the needs of the school under study. It is concluded that the communication is efficient between the internal actors but deficient with the external participants, for which the use of a technological platform of communication would benefit the process.
