This article discusses the various meanings attributed to the concept of research methodology, based on an analysis of the study plans and programs of three doctoral programs in education in Mexico. These programs have well-established faculty and have produced several generations of trained students. The article outlines the methodology used to analyze the curricular discourse related to the concept of research methodology, and presents findings that highlight the different interpretations given to key elements of this concept across the three programs. The results reveal nine major attributions of meaning to the concept of research methodology, with varying degrees of similarity across the three programs. This paper examines internal investigations as an essential component of prevention models established under Law 30424 in Peru. Since the implementation of this regulation in 2017, supplemented by its 2019 decree, legal entities are required to adopt compliance programs or prevention models, known as Criminal Compliance, to mitigate the risks of criminal offenses. A key element of these models is the whistleblowing procedure, which includes internal investigations designed to identify crime indicators and ensure the validity of results. The study underscores the need to distinguish internal investigations from criminal investigations. The former are private, voluntary, and focused on organizational learning, while the latter are public, mandatory, and conducted by the Public Prosecutor’s Office with punitive and legal liability objectives. The present study seeks to identify the results obtained from the application of the Social Skills Component of a social Program “Adereza tu vida sin drogas ni violencia”, in students of the primary level of an area of Huaycán. In order to respond the aims of the study, the qualitative approach, participatory action research design, and an initial and formative evaluation system were used; 42 girls and 41 boys, aged between 9 and 10 years, participated in the study; most of them are at the age of 9; all participants attend the 5th grade of primary school. The systematization of a relevant experience such as the training of 21 in-service teachers with the use of an action-research component was aimed at documenting and writing what happened, as well as explaining the results achieved as a result of the intervention. The aim was to interpret the experience critically, to learn from it and improve future practice. The study used qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results suggest that the component favored teachers to question their own beliefs about teaching and strengthen their abilities to make teaching problematic. They also suggest that these changes occur in training events that include spaces for reflection and discussion about beliefs and practices.

The Ministry of Culture´s online TV channel, cultura24.tv, is a platform destined for the distribution of audiovisual content specialized in art and culture via web. It´s way of operation is based on the digital convergence of two languages: the television and the internet, furthermore proposing a new perspective on the way in which audiovisuals are delivered to the audience. In this document you will find a descriptive review of the operation, starting from the project stage, showing the development process of an online TV channel and finally explaining the various components and stages that it has, contributing to the development of similar initiatives.

El presente estudio tuvo por objeto describir el nivel de inteligencia emocional que presentan los suboficiales en servicio que reciben atención en un centro de salud de la Policía Nacional del Perú. Empleándose para el estudio un diseño descriptivo, donde participaron como muestra 120 suboficiales en actividad, varones y mujeres, de la Policía Nacional del Perú. El instrumento empleado fue el inventario de inteligencia emocional Bar On ICE, para adultos, adaptado y validado en nuestro medio por Ugarriza. El estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar las categorías de cultura de paz, civismo y derechos humanos en el marco de la formación ciudadana en contextos educativos. Se desarrolló una investigación documental de enfoque cualitativo, sustentada en una perspectiva hermenéutica, cuyas unidades de análisis estuvieron conformadas por literatura académica, textos normativos y artículos especializados sobre educación en valores y ciudadanía global. The design of educative programs created to develop the middle school students´ skills is a recurrent subject in educational literature. The aim of this article is to find evidences that support an enrichment program oriented to improve motivation and engagement in gifted students. The sample of sixty students (10-12 years old) was taken from a Peruvian middle school. The instrument used in this study were the School Attitude Assessment Survey-Revised (SAAS-R) (Siegle y McCoach, 2005) to measure motivation and a rubric revised by experts to measure engagement. This research evaluated the effect of the Armonía program, based on mindfulness, on academic performance and academic stress in students of a higher education institution in Lima, through 8 sessions of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, for 8 weeks. A quasi-experimental design with pre and postest was used, with two groups (experimental and control), both with 25 randomly assigned participants, who had a mean age of 19.82 years. For the measurement of stress, the SISCO SV-21 Inventory was used and for academic performance, the grades of the first and second partials, completed by the teachers, were used. From an action research it is sought to identify the necessary elements to incorporate the psychoeducational approach to the educational management of a Family Residence in the south of Chile. The qualitative techniques of interviews and participatory diagnostic workshop were used to produce data. The results refer to components of the psychoeducational approach such as, their understanding of the relationship helps, the strategies to use the shared experience and the tools of diagnosis, planning and evaluation, positively influence the educational management of the center. Its incorporation requires a systematic and permanent process over time, as well as the confluence of the presence of criteria and conditions for its appropriation as an approach and intervention methodology by the center’s staff.

El actual estudio tiene la finalidad de diseñar Festi-kuyuy para el fortalecimiento de la psicomotricidad gruesa en niños de cinco años. A partir de ello, la investigadora consideró una metodología de enfoque cuantitativo de alcance descriptivo con propuesta y con diseño no experimental, además se contó con la participación de 20 infantes de una escuela inicial. En cuanto a los resultados, se diseñó una propuesta que es viable y cuenta con la validez necesaria para ser utilizada en contextos escolares, asimismo la propuesta contó con cuatro componentes (equilibrio, locomoción, coordinación y esquema corporal). Además, se halló que la psicomotricidad se encontró en el nivel inicio. Finalmente, se concluye que el diseño de la propuesta es adecuado porque permite mejorar la psicomotricidad de los infantes.

Objective: To validate a survey aimed at measuring satisfaction of residents about a specialization program in Lima, Peru. Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried-out. The survey was built considering resident´s opinions on the satisfaction requirements of each program and the five components of the SERVQUAL quality survey. A pilot study was undertaken to evaluate the degree of understanding of the questions and an expert evaluation was also performed before applying the survey. Reliability was evaluated with Cronbach´s alpha test and validity was evaluated with a multifactorial analysis. Descriptive statistics was applied, Chi square test with a p value <0.05 was used. Results: 218 (82.0%) surveys were analyzed; 54.1% were females; 57.7% were younger than 30 years of age; 86.2% were of free position. Se ha encontrado que el craving es uno de los mejores predictores de recaídas, por lo que resulta importante abordarlo durante el tratamiento para las adicciones. El Programa de Intervención Breve para Adolescentes (PIBA) ha demostrado ser eficaz para reducir el patrón de consumo de drogas, aumentar la autoeficacia para enfrentarse a situaciones de consumo y disminuir los problemas asociados al consumo en adolescentes que se encuentran en escuelas de nivel medio o medio superior, así como en instituciones de atención de adicciones de tipo ambulatorio.
