Frequencies and percentages were calculated, and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test and the Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis U tests were used to test the hypotheses. The analysis showed that the differences in irrational beliefs, considering gender, are not significant at the level of p < 0.05, except for one irrational belief: dependence (U = 1.687.000; Unilateral sig. = 0.03...

The restoration of a root canal treated tooth with change of color represents a challenge in the current dentistry, since in some cases it is not enough to perform only one procedure that is the appropriate one in our opinion, but it is possible to consider choosing a set of them to obtain satisfactory results. It is not sufficient to know the forms of the dental pieces if these are not homogenized with the other ones in all their aspects; consequently, the color gains vital importance to perform a good restoration procedure. By applying procedures such as internal and external whitening, as well as composite resins, suitable results can be obtained giving back the patient the aesthetics and function lost. In this article, some basic criteria are detailed to be taken into account in the resolution of a case of dyschromia combining whitening and composite resins procedures; the results ob...

For this purpose, a reflection based on a specialized bibliographical review is carried out, and is complemented by a surves. From the reflection it is concluded that although the concept of Good Living is under construction, as an alternative ethical-political proposal, it constitutes a semantic, discursive and mobilizing force of multiple possibilities, applicable to a diversity of contexts, as it recovers central values to respond to the planetary mega-crisis from basic principles of recovery of harmony among people, social harmony and harmony between human beings and nature, the ontological turn from individualism to conviviality, from the ideology of domination of people,...

At present, the so-called “Internet of Things” has turned indispensable the applications deployed on the Internet; the computers that act as clients are not exclusively PC’s or laptops, but also smart phones, tablets, and in general many different types of devices that run applications. This characterization of indispensable is basically associated with non-functional requirements (NFR), such as availability, scalability, and fault tolerance. This article explores from a technical point of view, a new programming paradigm that lets you build the so called reactive web applications which inherently have the event-handling characteristics, scalability, resilience and sensitivity in contrast to traditional web applications.
