The article examines the development of speech in elementary school students. The research objective is to determine the status of coherent speech development in 3rd-grade students in the process of constructive and artistic activity. The article defines the criteria (structural and compositional, communicative and productive, and communicative and creative), indicators, and levels of development of coherent speech in elementary school students in the process of constructive and artistic activity. Each criterion includes a group of qualitative content-disclosing indicators and characterizes the achievements of students in the intended type of activity. Based on this, the authors have developed a methodological tool that allows them to diagnose coherent speech development in 3rd-grade students in the process of constructive and artistic activity and to conduct a precise quantitative diffe...

It reviews the publications related with sexual maturity process and factors that, in some way, affect it. It studies a population of 1570 women from Lima and 189 from Arequipa, of different socioeconomic level, with ages from 12 to 48 years. The results allow the assertion that the socioeconomic level -that it is expressed in the nutritional state- is a fundamental factor in the sexual maturity process and the reproductive function. The secular trend to an earlier age of menarche has not yet arrived to the point expected due to the genetic factor. The results are compared with those of a north european women's population. It shows that moderate physical activity improves the reproductive function and that, to the present time, the age of menarche is earlier - or at least not lates- in Arequipa then in Lima City. These results put on second place the importance of the geographic altitude...

The olive industry (OI) generates large quantities of contaminated wastewater, especially during the alkaline treatment of green olives, posing an environmental problem due to the high levels of organic matter, phenolic compounds, and salts present in these effluents. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of two treatments, adsorption with activated carbon and Fenton reagent, to reduce biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5) and chemical oxygen demand (COD) in OI wastewater. Samples were collected from three affected zones in Tacna, Peru, and both treatments were applied using different reagent concentrations. The analysis included measuring BOD5 and COD before and after the treatments, followed by statistical tests to validate the results. The findings showed that although both methods achieved significant reductions in BOD5 and COD, Fenton’s reagent was more efficient in r...

In this work we carried out the mathematical modeling of the wound healing process, which is a well documented topic in medical and biological practice; but mathematically speaking there are still too much to be done for a clear understanding of the healing phenomom. Here we contribute to the mathematical modelling by using chemical kinetic concepts and mathematical tools, from which we have been able to formulate a system of ordinary differential equations of initial value, whose solution is presented graphically in front of a case study, where we have tested an active pharmaceutical principle with respect to its effectiveness. Finally, the speed of the healing process for such a case study produced an excellent agreement with experimental data that has been omitted due to confidentiality.

Smart cities are characterized by comprehensive connectivity, for which a level of integration is needed, for which integration must mature. In this sense, we find connectivity problems that occur in the areas of the Peruvian jungle, with interferences that cause cuts in the different services that use the Internet connection, such as web systems, for which the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (DEVIDA) is a public entity, has its headquarters in a district of the Peruvian Amazon jungle. The admissibility of activities is the registration of all activities to be carried out. These activities are characterized by controlling coca leaf plantations, as well as their eradication campaigns, being important to have the information in real time. Carrying out an analysis of similar works, we found works where XML messaging is used to achieve interoperability between the ...

This work was focused on identifying the strategic cycle for the application of the methodology by cases in administration students; for this an evaluation was carried out with the methodology to capture perceptions and gathering of relevant information where criteria were identified to propose a new route of strategic case-based learning in order to improve assertive performance, expertise and debatability in students. The research identified that only 2% are dissatisfied with the application of the methodology and more than 81% would like it to be implemented in their final evaluations. However, 76% believe that there should be improvements, in the same way in that the gathering of information identified is important to carry out a simulation of the experience and consider preparation and evaluation as a risk factor for its adoption in relation to the performance of the teaching modera...

One of the most important problems of the Ecuadorian system of public higher education in exact sciences is the low approval rate of applicants, which results in a delay in entering the University, greater fiscal investment in human and technological resources, and wasted access to the university due to subsequent desertion. Recognizing the advantages of the application of an innovative teaching-learning methodology, called Active Learning, compared to the traditional methodology and building a forecast model for academic performance in the admission system can be favorable to reduce this problem. The objective of this work is to determine through a binary logistic regression model if the innovative methodology of Active Learning in the Admission System of a Public University will allow a learning process of higher academic performance at the end of the admission course compared to the a...

In the drying process of activated clay there are two important methods that can be used to dry this activated clay: Rotator continuous drying and drying atomization. But to determine the characteristics and mechanism which intervene in the drying of clay is fundamental to use a batch tray drying. The objective of the present work is obtain the curve of drying velocity, fixing sorne initial conditions of humidity, and to define the mechanisms involved in the drying of activated clay with sulphuric acid. Further, this information will be used to scale to continuous drying and find out the equations which govern this process. It was necessary to use a tray of 214 cm2 surface area to charge moist bentonite. Samples were taken containing between 48 and 138 g, and initial humidity between 38 and 50%; to achieve a.final humidity of between about 8 and 13%. Graph of clay total mass (MT) versus ...

This work aims to establish the factors that determine the low productivity and weak competitiveness of food agroindustrial activity in the provinces of Castilla, Caylloma, Condesuyos and La Unión in the Arequipa Region, which suffer from strong socioeconomic problems. In order to achieve sustainable economic growth and improve the material living conditions of the population, a feasible alternative is the establishment of productive chains and the promotion of small producers' associativity.
