Introduction. Collaborative work promotes learning through active participation of students, allowing the development of social abilities and the construction of their own knowledge. Objective. To analyze collaborative work and its relationship with academic performance in medical students in a research course. Methods. Cross-sectional study, in which 148 human medicine students enrolled in the research course participated, selected using a non-probabilistic sample. The questionnaire called analysis of cooperative work in higher education that assesses the importance of collaborative work, of 49 questions distributed in seven dimensions, was used. Objective. To analyze the level of knowledge and perception of palliative care among anesthesiology residents in three public hospitals in Lima. Methods. An observational study was conducted, evaluating anesthesiology residents through a questionnaire (Paliative Care Knowlege Test, Spanish version) and five opinion questions applied between June and July 2021. The questionnaire, validated by experts, investigated aspects such as training received in palliative care, previous training, inclination to work in multidisciplinary teams and interest in future specialization in palliative care. Introduction. Violence against physicians in emergency departments is a growing and underreported problem, with repercussions on quality of care and occupational health. Objective. To determine the factors associated with violence against physicians in the emergency departments of hospitals in Lima, Peru. Methods. An analytical cross-sectional study was conducted in 35 emergency departments of public, private, and military/police hospitals. A validated questionnaire was applied to 491 physicians; the response rate was 70.5%.
