To evaluate the impact of the international accreditation process at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos’s Faculty of Dentistry was the purpose of the investigation. Methodology: The study was descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective. The sample was made up by 307 (of 450) students randomly selected. The data collection was obtained by a questionnaire survey. Chi square test (SPSS 20) was applied. The results showed that the level of student’s satisfaction related to accreditation process was regular to good (37.1% and 51.3%). This paper analyzes the process of accreditation of victims in the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP) procedure, in accordance with the requirements of the 100 Brasilia Rules. To this end, it will study the concept of «victim» in both the 100 Brasilia Rules and the SJP, as well as its consequences for the protection of vulnerable populations. Then, it will address the process of accreditation of the victims of the Colombian armed conflict before the JEP, as well as its progress and challenges concerning the rights of the vulnerable population, especially their access to justice. The conclusions will focus on the progress, challenges, and recommendations that emerge from the above analysis.

Accreditation of higher education in Ecuador takes on a paramount significance for the development of academic activities. This study focuses on the distinction between evaluation and accreditation, emphasizing their relationship. The accreditation in Ecuadorian higher education is addressed, considering parameters such as teaching, research, and engagement with society, highlighting its relevance. The employed method centers on the construction and analysis of the Referential Framework, playing a crucial role in providing a clear and accessible understanding of the research topic. The present upgrading work pretends to be a document that allows the delivering of experiences got by the Industrial Engineering Faculty (FII by its acronyms in Spanish) of the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM by its acronyms in Spanish), to obtain the university accreditation. The current Peruvian government passed law 28740 to create a number of organizations to regula te the processes of evaluation, accreditation, and certification of educational quality.
