The judicial process followed against César Vallejo is one of the most iconic cases of our legal system, as it not only resulted in the imprisonment of our universal poet but also took place when the foundations of our penal system were being reformed. In other words, the trial was an opportunity to demonstrate that our penal system evolved from an inquisitorial to an accusatorial system. Unfortunately, the opposite proved to be true: despite the change of code, the inquisitorial assumptions were unfairly applied against our universal poet with the purpose of ensuring his imprisonment during the instructive stage of the process, that is, before the relevant oral trial to determine his innocence. In this sense, this article seeks to demonstrate how the purpose of this first stage was undermined.

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la efectividad del programa Lectores críticos en la competencia lectora de textos argumentativos. El estudio es de nivel explicativo, tipo aplicada con diseño cuasi experimental. La muestra estuvo conformada por 36 estudiantes del 4° grado de secundaria de una institución educativa pública de Lima-Metropolitana y se distribuyó en dos grupos: experimental y control, los cuales se determinaron a partir de criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Se aplicó un pretest antes de la aplicación del programa y un postest después de la misma con la finalidad de comparar las medias. Los resultados que se obtuvieron indican que la aplicación del programa mejoró la competencia lectora de los estudiantes que recibieron la intervención educativa.

Research in academic literacy has shown that scaffolding improves the reading of disciplinary texts. Included among the considered variables is the lexica. A robust vocabulary will result in better reading performance. To verify this, a semantic priming task and a reading comprehension test were applied to 31 first-year pedagogy students to establish whether there is a correlation between lexical processing and reading. The main findings indicate the establishment of weak semantic relations and normal reading performance. It is concluded that better reading performance is associated with slower lexical processing, which would suggest that readers engage in strategic operations to address comprehension tasks. This will allow for the formulation of scaffolding actions that highlight the importance of mastering the disciplinary vocabulary in order to safeguard an adequate reading task.

The sample that is the subject of study is a concentrate mainly of gold pyrite, product of the flotation process, from Empresa Minera Aurífera Calpa S.A. The characterization of the concentrate in the UNMSM polarized light microscope shows the presence of pyrite, sphalerite, chalcopyrite, electrum, marcasite, pyrrhotite, arsenopyrite, rutile and gangue. In the polished briquette corresponding to the +100 mesh, the presence of electrum has been observed. This article analyzes one of the discriminatory discourses that has recently acquired special relevance in the Peruvian national context: cyberterruqueo. The aim is to carry out a descriptive analysis of the phenomenon —from the political-ideological and ethnic, racial and cultural perspectives—, and to study, in the context of cyberspace, the hegemonic representations that are discursively created with respect to certain sectors of the population. In this paper we analyze the process of word formation in the literary production of Julio Cortázar. After an introductory section focused on his aim of regeneration of the Latin American novel, one of whose pillars is the renewal of the literary lexicon, the rest of the article is devoted to a detailed analysis of the procedures used by Cortázar in the creation of new words. Firstly, we study creations of a jabberwocky nature (jitanjáforas). Afterward, we attend to the use of the regular mechanisms that language offers for this purpose (derivation, composition, blending, palindromes and anagrams, etc.).

In this study, an analysis of pre-trial proceedings is made, given the new scenario of programming virtual hearings and the subsequent procedural burden that will arise once the state of emergency is lifted. Moreover, operational aspects are raised for the correct application of this procedural institution and statistical data on its use in specialized courts in different parts of the country are evaluated, in order to reevaluate the advantages of pre-trial proceedings as a tool for procedural simplification that leads to an expeditious, effective and timely resolution.

The study evaluated the INIA Real Sicaina and Shulay potato varieties for processing as frozen pre-fried potatoes, given the growing interest in the Peruvian agroindustry. These varieties were compared with imported ones under blanching and pre-frying treatments, highlighting the lack of prior research on local varieties. The main challenge lies in Peru's technological gap, where frozen pre-fried potatoes are not produced due to raw material quality and limited processes. This research tested new varieties and analyzed the impact of treatments on key indicators like color and moisture.
