The investigation shows the results founded in the field of Reading Comprehension. Starting from the theoretic model of cognitive psychology and psycholinguistics, and in particular the theory of Van Dijk and Kintsch (1983, 1993, 1994). The author explores the problematic of comprehensive reading in a group of children and teenagers with learning disabilities in the province of Callao, trying to know how much can they could intervening in the improvement of their reading weakness, for what we have design and application and an Experimental Program of Treatment. The most important idea of the study was the significant difference in reading comprehension levels reached in the pre test and in the post test, by the group I students after applying the experimental program, and as an important improvement in the student group II.

This article presents the results of an investigation that tests an alternative program to improve reading comprehension, the direct instruction of reading strategies, the use of different types of texts, and where the teacher cedes control of the process were taken as guidelines reader to student gradually. The research was of an applied type, with a quasi-experimental design, working with 44 second-grade high school students from public educational institutions, to measure the study variable of applying the Demonstrating what we learned-Reading test developed by the UMC. The results show us a significant difference between the control and experimental group, proving its effectiveness in increasing the level of reading comprehension and in the development of their abilities.

The study was conducted in a State Educational Institution of the Constitutional Province of Callao, Peru. Type pre experimental with one group pre and posttest, aimed to determine the improvement of Inferential Reading Skills - HIL, through the design and implementation of a program of Iconic method based on experimental evidence in the study of understanding and learning (Estaún, 1998; Monge, 1992; Rengifo and Marulanda, 2007), in a sample of 93 students averaging between eight and nine years old. An instrument being elaborated based on the theories of Goodman (2002) and Inga (2009); to measure these skills. The implementation of the program was more effective in the ability to solve problems.

Objective. To identify limiting factors in the process of preparing a scientific research project in students of the nursing program at Universidad de Huanuco, 2019. Methods. It was an observational, prospective, and analytical study. Population sample comprised of 60 students. Measurement instruments were: interview guide with general characteristics of the sample. Two questionnaires, preparation of a research project and limiting factors, which were validated. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la efectividad del programa Lectores críticos en la competencia lectora de textos argumentativos. El estudio es de nivel explicativo, tipo aplicada con diseño cuasi experimental. La muestra estuvo conformada por 36 estudiantes del 4° grado de secundaria de una institución educativa pública de Lima-Metropolitana y se distribuyó en dos grupos: experimental y control, los cuales se determinaron a partir de criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Se aplicó un pretest antes de la aplicación del programa y un postest después de la misma con la finalidad de comparar las medias. Los resultados que se obtuvieron indican que la aplicación del programa mejoró la competencia lectora de los estudiantes que recibieron la intervención educativa.

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo general diseñar un programa de hábitos de estudio para potenciar la comprensión lectora en estudiantes del cuarto grado de primaria. La investigación se basó en un paradigma positivista, fundamentado en el enfoque cuantitativo de tipo no experimental a nivel descriptivo. La muestra consistió en treinta y uno estudiantes, seleccionados mediante el método no probabilístico con carácter intencional, a quienes se les aplicó un test para medir la comprensión lectora, el mismo que tiene valoraciones altas de validez (1.000) y confiabilidad (0.81), que está direccionado a evaluar la comprensión lectora en sus tres niveles: literal, inferencial y criterial. The purpose of this work is to implement an algorithm to identify the seismic waves parameters: P phase, S phase, amplitude, period and duration. For this, digital signal processing and the programming language Matlab will be applied to perform the automatic reading of seismic signal parameters. As mathematical tools, the discrete Fourier transform (fft) to study the frecuency components of the signal and the Hilbert transform to obtain the envelope signal, will be used. A graphical user interface in Matlab was designed and implemented for reading (with functions of automatic reading or manual reading) seismic signals with three components. In this way, it makes easy the routine of reading the seismic signals within a great set. The results of the automatic algorithm agree with that of a manual operator for a great Signal/Noise ratio.

Hoy en día los estudiantes presentan muchos problemas para comprender aquello que están leyendo o escuchando, lo cual trae dificultades en el modo fluido de entender lo que leen. Frente a ello surge la necesidad de realizar una investigación cuyo objetivo fue diseñar un programa basado en el uso de cuentos para potenciar la comprensión de textos en niños de cincoaños de una institución educativa. The main purpose of this study is to show the effectiveness of learning phonics in reading decoding, by designing and implementing a pilot program based on the systematization of the method to which we refer, starting from the theoretical model cognitive psychology and psycholinguistics. We worked with a sample of 50 students from first grade elementary. In order to assess their level of reading decoding they were exposed to a specific dyslexia exploration test, obtaining from this evaluation the significant differences between the level of reading decoding of students exposed to the experimental program versus those who were not taught with this method, concluding that the phonetic style program has favorable implications for the learning of reading decoding.
