Os neologismos metafóricos têm sido comumente associados à função estilística, o que implica que a ocorrência de cargas metafóricas seria uma questão estritamente “lúdica” de inovação lexical. Tais conclusões foram baseadas em descobertas coletadas de corpora textuais, deixando inexplorada a presença de elementos cognitivos em contextos orais não planejados de enunciação. Para estudar a relação entre esses elementos e as funções comunicativas, foram selecionados seis podcasts chilenos de diferentes áreas temáticas a fim de obter um corpus neológico oral para estudar a presença de cargas metafóricas e, por sua vez, estudar as funções das unidades em profundidade por meio de uma adaptação do modelo de Llopart-Saumell (2016). Objective:The objective of the present study was to determine the frequency and distribution of diagnoses of functional occlusal disorders among patients treated in undergraduate and postgraduate oral rehabilitation at the Teaching Dental Clinic of the Peruvian Cayetano Heredia University between 2016 and 2017. Material andmethods:The research was descriptive, retrospective, observational, and cross-sectional. The variables considered were the diagnoses of functional occlusal disorders, classifying them by gender, age, educational level, and location. Se enuncian los rasgos lingüísticos básicos del español del Caribe, particularmente los del español de Cuba, y se presenta un rasgo sintáctico característico de esta variedad dialectal: la expresión frecuente de los sujetos pronominales. Se describe el comportamiento del sujeto pronominal de segunda persona singular “tú” en un corpus oral de catorce entrevistas aplicadas a hablantes cultos de La Habana, Villa Clara y Matanzas, vinculándose la frecuente aparición de este pronombre con la Hipótesis de Compensación Funcional. The purpose of this research was to determine the loss of function of the stomatognathic system in relation to the chewing capacity and aesthetic factor in students from 7 to 10 years old at the Independencia School - Puno 2022. In this article we will examine the discursive function of the story “Orovilca”. Our hypothesis suggests that the mythical and symbolic element of the Andean cosmovision is the basis on which the narrative substrate is built up, as well as the mechanism on which the two main characters, Salcedo and Wilster, are created. From our point of view, both characters have features that link them with the bird and the serpent, an aspect, which although pointed out by Alejandro Ortiz Rescaniere and Gladys Marin, has not been clearly proved yet. What we propose is to analyze the significance of both characters because it is really on them that the narrative tension is based and articulated, as well as on the spaces in which the whole story unfolds.

Objetive. Dental crowding added to poor oral hygiene can lead to gingival and dental pathologies and cause aesthetic and functional problems of the stomatognathic system. The objective of this study was correlate dental crowding and Oral Hygiene in 12 year old school students in the urban area "El vecino" of the city of Cuenca, Ecuador. Objetive: To determine oral hygiene habits, barriers, and burden reported by caregivers of children and adolescents with disabilities (CAD) in Talca, Chile. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional study was applied to caregivers of this vulnerable population. Children and adolescents were characterized using sociodemographic variables, diagnosis, and a degree of functional dependence, and their caregivers were characterized based on sociodemographic variables. El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el funcionamiento familiar y salud oral en pacientes niños de una clínica docente.
