Small and medium-sized enterprises have always proven to be crucial to national economies, yet many of them fail for a variety of reasons. One of them is selecting an inadequate supplier that does not meet the needs that the company requires to properly perform its core business. Therefore, this project proposes to develop a web application to select the best supplier option for a company. The main objective is to assist in decision making and reduce costs with a web application that implements the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP), based on a series of criteria and priorities chosen by the company itself. Pollutants inside at houses are smoking, gas combustion, use of solvents, household cleaning chemicals, emissions from building materials, and contamination of the exterior aggravates the inside of the house. In this article, we conducted a study to select the best air purifier equipment for an urban house. The selection was carried out by applying the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) methodology. In this study, three alternatives were proposed for the evaluation of the air purifier equipment: Bap1700, Bap600 and Bap706; which were ranked according to the criteria: scope, characteristics, and model. To carry out the selection using AHP, a panel of four experts were selected for this study. In this paper, we determined that the best air purifier equipment was the A1 alternative: Air Purifier Bap1700.

This paper focuses on sustainable public procurements that seek to minimize negative environmental impacts and improve positive social impacts, which require significant changes within the market reality of a country. In the case of Peru, legislation establishes the requirement that sustainable criteria be integrated into public procurement suited to the needs for the procurement of goods and services. In this way, the problem that this study seeks to resolve relies on technical non-observance to verify compliance with current regulations in force within the supplier selection process that consider sustainability criteria. Meteorological observations play a major role in land management; thus, it is vital to properly plan the monitoring network of weather stations (WS). This study, therefore, selected ‘highly suitable’ sites with the objective of replanning the WS network in Amazonas, NW Peru. A set of 11 selection criteria for WS sites were identified and mapped in a Geographic Information System, as well as their importance weights were determined using Analytic Hierarchy Process and experts. A map of the suitability of the territory for WS sites was constructed by weighted superimposition of the criteria maps. On this map, the suitability status of the 20 existing WS sites was then assessed and, if necessary, relocated. En el presente artículo científico se presentó un modelo propuesto para el proceso de selección empleando técnicas novedosas, tal como, el reclutamiento 4.0 junto a las plataformas digitales, las cuales, se utilizaron como instrumento para realizar la simulación del modelo en el programa Bizagi. Además, se planteó como objetivo, garantizar la realización del proceso adaptado a las nuevas tendencias del reclutamiento y a las medidas optadas por el Gobierno para frenar el avance de la COVID-19; todo ello permitió obtener como resultado un eficiente y eficaz modelo de proceso de selección que garantizó la disminución de tiempo y costos, como también, el cuidado de los participantes del proceso.

Facial anthropometric features are used to predict the size of respirators in workers exposed to inhalatory chemical products. However, the multiracial features of the Peruvian population has not been taken into account in this process. Objective: to determine whether the use of facial anthropometric measurements is useful to select the size of half-face respirators in civil construction workers. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in 117 workers in whom the length of the face and widening of the mouth was used to determine the size of three half- face respirators. Results: Mean length of face was 12.2 ± 0.6 cm and mean of mouth widening was 5.3 ± 0.6 cm. El objetivo de la presente investigación es determinar la relación que existe entre el proceso de selección de personal y el desempeño laboral del área administrativa en una municipalidad distrital de Lima en el periodo 2020, por medio de la metodología de diseño no experimental, de tipo descriptivo correlacional, con una población que comprende a 46 trabajadores del área administrativa y una muestra censal que considera a la población en su totalidad.
