This article proposes an intervention program to create consciousness among elementary school students and parents of Basic and Regular Education about gender violence to eventually identify gender’s violence ways of expression and the different aspects where these develop such as their homes, school, and society in general. Given that these attitudes tend to be blinded or normalized when a type of violence is manifested oriented by the gender. Accomplishing this, it will promote a better coexistence generating better opportunities for everyone. In addition, it will allow to strengthen the integral development of students, who not only will be able to identify these types of situations, but will also take a stand and act upon it, thus, becoming an example for their surroundings. From This educational intervention perspect...

The goal of this study was to attempt to create a more effective treatment model by leveraging the knowledge and skill sets of those who work most closely with these families in crisis. The participants, who consisted of the direct care staff of the Latino Domestic Violence Program (LDVP) in Philadelphia, were interviewed individually, and the data was analyzed in accordance with grounded theory methodology. The participants' responses served to bring to the fore a number of important issues. The participants helped identify two main elements that needed to be part of an ideal program. 1: The program must be equipped to address all the biopsychosocial needs experienced by the family (financial, occupational, educational and mental health needs). Undocumented and non-English speaking clients’ needs must be also considered when developing a program for Latino families. 2: We should avoid...

The investigation had the objectives of measuring the impact of a recreational program in the promotion of resilience, as well as its dimensions according to sex, and determine if the hours of participation, the number of recreational activities and the number of sessions was related to the levels of resilience and its dimensions. The experimental group was composed of 19 subjects, with an average age of 12.9. All attended were in seventh grade in an elementary school in the Talca region, Chile. The design was quasi-experimental of a non-equivalent pre-test-posttest control group. We used a mixed variance analysis of three tracks with repeated measures in a factor, and partial correlation. The results allowed us to observe the absence of a significant interaction (p < .05) among the group measured by sex, with regard to resilience and its dimensions. On the other hand, there has been ...

There are programs for men who exert violence in couple relations with women, in the Anglo-Saxon and Scandinavian world (United States, Canada, Sweden, Australia) since more than thirty years ago and eighteen years ago in the Hispanic world ( Argentina, Mexico). In the present research, we propose a multidimensional model with a gender perspective which includes cognitive, behavioral, emotional and historical dimensions of violent behavior, and incorporates different theoretical references. This causes the coordination of this problem -men who exert violence- and the possibilities of an intervention that pay completely attention to those components. This model supports with a gender perspective the importance of working psychoeducational strategies which permit that HEV assume the responsibility about the violence, critical consciousness about the use o...

The influence between social vulnerability and emotional states has been researched, and results have demonstrated that it may have negative consequences especially for young population. In addition to this, different studies conclude that emotional intelligence may play an important part in reducing the risk factors of social vulnerability. The main objective of this paper is to create a program to develop emotional abilities in children between 6 and 12 years old, that live in risk of social exclusion and social vulnerability. This program is carried our throughout 13 sessions of 90 minutes each. The main contents that are included in the program are the key components of Emotional Intelligence proposed in the theoretical model of Mayer and Salovey: perception and expression of emotions, emotional facilitation, understanding and analyzing emotions, and regulation of emotions. Finally, ...

The objective of the research was to analyze the relationship between the Budget Program 068 and the Reactive Management in the Provincial Municipality of Tumbes in the year 2021. It is a basic type study, with a descriptive, quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional design., with a sample of 376 residents of the areas of greatest risk and 28 managers of the municipality. Two fifteen-item questionnaires for each variable were used as instruments, their reliability is good and they were validated using Cronbach's Alpha coefficient (α = 0.761 and α = 0.767, respectively). As a result of the survey, it was obtained that 43% of the municipal officials affirm that there is never a relationship between the two variables, however, the hypothesis test concludes that there is a relationship between them (X2=0.045 Pearson correlation). A conceptual model is proposed to improve programming,...
