Introduction: In oral rehabilitation, the use of ceramic restorations is widely accepted due to its aesthetic capacity to mimic the naturalness of the dental tissue, provide longevity of the material, and present a greater marginal fit compared to crowns with a metal structure. Termination lines are biological preparations whose function is to minimize the cervical opening of the marginal seal. Consequently, analyzing the behavior of restorative materials under compressive forces decreases the risk of fracture and increases the success of the treatment. The ongoing transformation of electrical power systems highlights the weaknesses of the protection schemes of traditional devices because they are designed and confgured according to traditional characteristics of the system. Therefore, this work proposes a new methodology to study the fault-generated high frequency transient signals in transmission lines through multiresolution analysis. The high frequency components are determined by a new digital fltering technique based on mathematical morphology theory and a spectral energy index. Background: In January 2020, the World Health Organization declared the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) «a public health emergency of international concern» owing to the detection of cases and the rapid spread of the disease. Objective: This study aimed at understanding the social representations of COVID-19 among Brazilian elderly women. Method: A total of 100 elderly women selected by convenience sampling, with an average age of 69.24 years old (SD = 6.58), participated in the study. We introduce a compact and unified shear deformation theory for plates with elasto-plastic behavior. We formulate the kinematics of the two-dimensional structure in a compact and unified manner using the Carrera Unified Formulation. This formulation allows for generalized expansions of the primary variables and through-the-thickness functions. We obtain the governing equations using the principle of virtual work and a finite element discretization. We solve the nonlinear equations using a Newton–Raphson linearization scheme, and linearize the constitutive equations using the algorithmic tangent moduli. This essay in general lines is oriented to reflect some classical elements in the heroic symbology, structured in the central monument of the Bolognesi Square of the city of Lima, our intention is to understand and approach the heroic construction as an institutional necessity and archetypal formation in pro of a major civic construct which is the citizen. This brief work identifies under empirical criteria certain elements that will be interconnected during reading, all based on a reflexive experience generated in the teaching experience, which made it possible to roll back research and ideas already raised.

El presente trabajo de investigación contiene el estudio del comportamiento sísmico de un tipo de puente que considera una conexión no monolítica entre el tablero continuo y la subestructura mediante la combinación de topes sísmicos y apoyos comunes, estos últimos elementos fueron prescindidos en los análisis realizados.
