This essay studies Guaman Poma de Ayala’s narrative strategies to address ideas about materiality in Andean culture. It focuses on the descriptive systems and classifcations that are displayed along the Nueva corónica y buen gobierno to textually reconstruct the material dimension of what was called “idolatry”. The chronicler was Cristóbal de Albornoz’s assistant. Albornoz authored one of the frst treatises about the extirpation of idolatries. Guaman Poma included in his work information collected during his time with Albornoz about diverse objects that were classifed as idolatric. Suicide is a serious and significant public health problem, representing the loss of 720,000 lives each year. However, it is one of the most preventable deaths. The aim of this research was to develop a 24-item test that assesses self-efficacy in the management of suicidal crises, which was applied to an accidental sample of 488 participants, community agents from a private higher education institution in Peru. Among evidence-based interventions, one of the most important is training in suicide risk management for community agents. The present communication informs about the construction and validation process of a psychometric reactive which evaluates the sensitivity to criticism, a psychological construct of inmense importance in the clinic, educational and organizational psychology. The authors constructed a 20-items reactive with topics as the zone of residence, the social abilities, academic achievement, and some other characteristics, to be evaluated with a Likert-Scale (0 to 10) as a motive of critic by close friends. The subjects were asked to response to what extent were they hurt by this critic.

This study investigates emotional involvement in romantic relationships through the Relationship Involvement Scale (RIS), emphasizing its validation and reliability in a Peruvian sample. Interpersonal relationship challenges underline the significance of emotional commitment for well-being. The RIS uniquely assesses this aspect, distinguishing it from love, satisfaction, and maintenance measures. This article describes the construction of the Family Planning Knowledge Test for Promotors through a process which assured the test content validity, intemal consistency of scores, and parallel-test reliability. The test is presented in two equivalent versions, A and B, with 80 multiplechoice items esch. It generales separate scores for four thematic areas: Oral Contraceptives, Barrier Methods, Reproductive System, and Institucional Policy/Intrauterine Devices; additionally, it produces several composite scores and a total score. The test psychometric properties, research applications, and practical use are discussed.

The P response in the Rorschach test is described as an empirical phenomenon, traditional interpretations concerning its meaning are discussed, and a new approach pertaining to the psychological processes underlying it is presen· ted. Then the relevant emp irlcal literature is reviewed. The findings in three domains (psycho-pathology, child development, and cross-cultural psychology) suggest that P can be regarded as a valid cognitive construct. As a personality construct, however, P remains in need of systematic validation.
