Cuestionar el sistema educativo actual sin plantear soluciones es común escucharlo; sin embargo, no es frecuente encontrarse con cuestionamientos profundos a dicho sistema y plantear soluciones convincentes. Pues bien, en el presente libro es posible deleitarse con una lectura ampliamente crítica al sistema educativo actual, particularmente al universitario, dando argumentos de fondo para indicar cuáles son sus falencias actuales y describiendo posibles salidas viables. Nuestro autor afirma que, así como el mundo de los negocios, el modelo educativo de nuestro sistema de educación superior está basado en el taylorismo, que compara a todas las personas según un promedio, dejando de lado y olvidando casi por completo la individualidad de las personas que, por el contrario, cuando es potenciada y valorada conduce a la innovación, al éxito y a la felicidad.

The objetive of this study was to determine the prevalence of brucelosis in goats at the province of Barranca, Lima (districts of Paramonga, Pativilca, Barranca and Supe). The Rose Bengal agglutination test was used in 392 female goats older than 3 months that were not vaccinated against brucellosis. No positive samples were found posibly due to the effective programme of control and eradication carried out since 1997 by the Ministry of Health and SENASA (Servicio Nacional de Sanidad Agraria).

The establishing of roses in hydroponic systems implies development propagation techniques that are efficient, economical and that produce homogeneous populations in a short time. In this work, were evaluated the effects of different substrates (peat, agrolite and vermiculite, a 1:1 v/v mixture of peat and vermiculite and two 1:1 v/v and 1:3 v/v mixture of gravel and coconut fiber); two levels of light (548 y 274 μmol.m-2.s-1) and leaf persistence on cutting (0, 5, 10, 15, 20 y 25 days after establishment) on rooting, root and axial bud developments of commercial variety of rose. The vermiculite had the best results, showed the highest number of cuttings alive and rooting percentage (60%). The light levels, leaf persistence as the interaction, were also significant. In this article it is argued that the poetry book Las comarcas (1964) by Juan Gonzalo Rose evidences the trip of a subject in search of a non-Western rationality, linked to the natives of the tropical zones. In addition, through an interdiscursive analysis, some important themes of the chosen texts are highlighted, such as irony and the representation of ancient knowledge. Likewise, Rose's poems are compared with those of Antonio Cisneros and Rodolfo Hinostroza.

Although he has not achieved the international fame of other authors, Juan Gonzalo Rose (1928-1983) is considered one of the most important writers of Peruvian letters because of the sensitivity he develops in his work and the varied themes he presents. In this sense, in the present work we propose to perform a critical review of the work of Juan Gonzalo Rose and the rhetorical analysis of two of his poems: "Return-circle" and "Convalescence".

This essay is an analysis of the poems «Interludio» (El morador [1944; Inhabitant]) and «Rosa terrenal» (Diario de Perseo [1948; Perseus’ diary]), included in the book Vida continua (1989; Continuous Life) of the Peruvian poet Javier Sologuren (1921-2004), who belonged to the Generación de 1945 (Generation ‘45). The theoretical framework of this analysis is the reflection of the poetic symbol of the rose, which, as we know, has one long tradition as in the Western as Oriental world. Thus, as the first poem suggests, the rose is a reflection on nature and time. In the second poem, and continuing with the existential problem of the first, it places most emphasis on the human anguish over the life and death awareness.

Uno de los métodos de valoración económica más conocidos es denominado valoración contingente. En su aplicación, los encuestados responden una pregunta sobre su disposición a pagar (DAP) por el uso y preservación de un bien público. Sin embargo, este método tiene una seria limitación relacionada con la posibilidad de obtener sesgo hipotético, debido a la falta de honestidad en las respuestas, lo que produce un desbalance en el tamaño de los grupos de respuestas negativas (no dispuestas a pagar) y positivas (dispuestas a pagar). La brucelosis es causada por bacterias del género Brucella. Este género comprende 7 sub-especies conocidas como B. abortus, B. melitensis, B. suis, B. ovis, B. canis, B. neotomae y B. maris (Forbes y Tessaro, 1996; Samartino, 2001). La brucelosis es prevalente a nivel mundial, pero en especial en los países en desarrollo (Acha y Szyfres, 1989; Gómez, 1993). En América Latina, la brucelosis ocasiona pérdidas económicas estimadas en 600 millones de dólares anuales; no sólo por las fallas reproductivas, sino también, por constituir una barrera para el comercio internacional de animales (FAO/OMS, 1986).

The objetive of the present study was to determine the seroprevalence of Brucella sp. in creole cattle of the province of Parinacochas, Ayacucho, Perú. Serum samples were collected from cows and heifers of 24 herds (n=385) located in 4 districts (Chumpi, Coracora, Puyusca and Pullo), to detect antibodies against Brucella sp. by the Rose Bengal agglutination test. Seroreactor animals were not found indicating that the area is free of Brucella sp. infection or would have a prevalence less than 4.87%. The results may be due to the effective surveillance programme conducted by the sanitary authorities on internal movement of animals, as well as the prevailing climatic conditions and breeding system, which may be adverse to Brucella sp.

In October 2015 in the province of San Marcos, Cajamarca region, the occurrence of attack Argyrotaenia aphaleropa Meyrick (1909) was verified tara pods, causing direct damage, interfering in its development and growth, depreciating the product commercially, generating restrictions exports; so this plague its integrated demand to decrease the incidence and prevent the entry to other regions free of attacks handling.

Mediante el presente artículo nos aproximaremos a los poemas “Marisel” y “Geografía implacable” de Simple canción (1960), poemario de Juan Gonzalo Rose (1928-1983). Incidiremos en las figuras de la mujer en consonancia con los elementos que constituyen la naturaleza. De modo paralelo, realizaremos un análisis de la dimensión rítmica de ambos poemas. Así, y a partir de la Retórica General Textual de Stefano Arduini y la teoría de la rítmica semántica cognitiva de Oldrich Belic, postularemos que existe una construcción discursiva que presenta a la figura femenina con valencias que la vinculan a la naturaleza desde los campos figurativos de la metáfora y la sinécdoque, todo ello potenciado a partir del trabajo con la dimensión rítmica de los poemas. Objective: To determine the effect of two natural biostimulants on the production of two varieties of rose (Rosa sp.) under greenhouse in the Quiquijana district of Cusco-Peru. Method. It was carried out in a greenhouse at an altitude of 3,053 meters above sea level. The completely randomized design (DCA) was used with a 2 x 3 factorial arrangement and three repetitions; Factor a: Variety (a1: Freedom and a2: Gold strike) and Factor b: biostimulant (b0: Without biostimulant, b1: Natural biostimulant and b2: Foliar biostimulant with algae extract).
