The current study relates to designing a swarming computational paradigm to solve the influenza disease system (IDS). The nonlinear system’s mathematical form depends upon four classes: susceptible ndividuals, infected people, recovered individuals and cross-immune people. The solutions of the IDS are provided by using the artificial neural networks (ANNs) together with the swarming computational paradigm-based particle swarm optimization (PSO) and interior-point scheme (IPA) that are the global and local search approaches. The ANNs-PSO-IPA has never been applied to solve the IDS. Instead a merit function in the sense of mean square error is constructed using the differential form of each class of the IDS and then optimized by the PSOIPA. Drug design has significantly benefited from advancements in computational chemistry and neural networks. In this article, we explore the pivotal role played by computational chemistry techniques such as Density Functional Theory (DFT), Molecular Docking, and Molecular Dynamics (MD) in understanding and optimizing atomic and molecular-level interactions. Furthermore, we examine how the integration of neural networks has enhanced precision and efficiency in drug design. We present specific examples of research projects showcasing the synergy between these methods and highlighting substantial advances in the quest for effective medical solutions. The general goal of this research is to address the way in which the twenty-five first Spanish publishers in literature publication manage their social networks. For this, through the PRGS model, the weight of the main social networks (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) in the digital marketing strategy of these Spanish publishing companies is analysed from a triple dimension: a) the attraction of users, b) content generation, and c) users' engagement to the brand. The study conducted on these twenty-five Spanish publishers concludes that Facebook is the one that generates the most fans, compared to Twitter and Instagram. Nonetheless, Twitter is the network most used to generate content. Finally, in terms of engagement, the results point out Instagram as the network where better results are obtained

With the aim of understanding humor functioning through internet and social network, we will approach memes through a determinate topic: memes about philosophers and thinkers in general since they define a very specific meaning community. We won´t adjust to a single theory, because memes´ multiplicity and their comicalness can´t be submitted by only one way of working or by specific purpose, therefore we will work from different comical concepts, from Baudelaire´s comical and caricature notions, Bajtin´s carnival grotesque concept, passing through Freud´s theories about jokes and laugh, till Bergson, Pirandello and Koestler humor definitions. From the discursive analysis we will try an explanation of how humor works in order to create, to keep and to reinforce social links.

The automatic characterization and classification of plant species is an important task for plant taxonomists. On this work, we propose the use of well-known pre-trained Deep Convolutional Neural Networks (DCNN) for the characterization of plants based on their leaf midrib. The samples studied are microscope images of leaf midrib cross-sections taken from different specimens under varying conditions. Results with traditional handcrafted image descriptors demonstrate the difficulty to effectively characterize these samples. Our proposal is to use DCNN as a feature extractor through Global Average Pooling (GAP) over the raw output of its last convolutional layers without the application of summarizing functions such as ReLU and local poolings. It is a novel technology that allows human-machine interaction in a virtual or physical environment, through a communication channel between the central nervous system and a robotic device. The robotic mobile system Robotino, developed by FESTO, is a robotic platform oriented towards research and education, which is why it has a reduced amount of actuators of limited real functionality. The current work aims to design a computational framework based on artificial neural networks (ANNs) and the optimization procedures of global and local search approach to solve the nonlinear dynamics of the spread of COVID-19, i.e., the SEIR-NDC model. The combination of the Genetic algorithm (GA) and active-set approach (ASA), i.e., GA-ASA, works as a global-local search scheme to solve the SEIR-NDC model. An error-based fitness function is optimized through the hybrid combination of the GA-ASA by using the differential SEIR-NDC model and its initial conditions. The numerical performances of the SEIR-NDC nonlinear model are presented through the procedures of ANNs along with GA-ASA by taking ten neurons. The purpose of this research is to identify an artificial intelligence tool based on neural networks to predict the behavior of performance and risk of the set of financial assets based on actions that more accurately reflect the stock market movement of the Peruvian stock market. The research initially identified the most appropriate financial asset to estimate the performance and risk values of the 50% most liquid share portfolio in the Peruvian market in the 2010-2016 period.
