Passion fruit peel is an agro-industrial waste that with added value can be used in the food industry. The purpose of this work was the physicochemical, functional and rheological characterization of passion fruit shell flour (HCMr). Physicochemical, functional and rheological analyzes were carried out. The humidity value of HCMr was 11.25%, this is within the requirements of Peruvian standards. Protein values (5.14%) are low compared to cerelae flours. The total dietary fiber value was 63.88%. The total values of polyphenols and antioxidant activity were 504.75 mg G.A.E./100g and 1520.49 µmol ET / 100g respectively. The water retention capacity value was 12.93 ml retained water / g. The functional compounds present in food are essential to prevent certain types of cancer, so it is important to know how they vary in the food during storage. The study was conducted in the Puno region in 2019; the objective of the trial was to evaluate the behavior of functional compounds in two accessions of Isaño: Yana añu (purple-dark color) and Yellow pumpkin with purple eyes during storage at natural conditions 13 ºC and 65 % of relative humidity. The method used to determine the polyphenols was the one described by Folin-Ciocalteu; ABTS to determine the CAOX and visual titration with 2-6 Dichlorophenolindophenol to quantify the vitamin C content. En el presente trabajo se llevaron a cabo dos diseños experimentales para la determinación de las condiciones óptimas de la fabricación de nanohilos de nylon y síntesis de grafeno, para lo cual se obtuvo: 0.68 M de (NH4)2SO4 y 11.45 V; 27 kV, 2.3 mL/h y 11.40 cm de distancia de la aguja al colector (cm); respectivamente. De esta manera, se produjeron electrohilos de nylon y grafeno, ambos de tamaño nanométrico. A partir de estos materiales se preparó un compósito nanohilos/grafeno, a las condiciones óptimas de fabricación. The triiodothyronine uptake test, was performed on 44 patients suffering from a variety of thyroid diseases plus 11 pregnant women, using this hormone labeled with I-131 and ionic exchange resin. Among the 44 patients there were 20 with thyrotoxicosis, 10 hypothyroid, 8 with diffuse non-toxic goiter and 6 with other thyroid conditions with no evidence of thyroid disfunction. An averange of 48,9% uptake for the hyperthyroid, 22,2% for the hypothyroid an 23,3% for the pregnant women was found. This gave a very significant difference from the normal group that averaged 32% according to a previous report. There was no difference between the normal group and the other two groups having no functional disturbance. Our results agree with the findingsof the other investigators in other countries. It study the production of oxygenated organic compounds by pyrolysis of mango pit is studied. the influence of the reaction temperature, nitrogen flow, humidity and particle size of the raw material is investigated. the functional groups are identified by infrared spectroscopy with Fourier transform of the liquid product obtained in the organic and aqueous phase. The results show that increasing the reaction temperature influences cyclically in the product, indicating a dynamic formation-destruction of the functional groups. Thus, when at a temperature forming functional groups in organic compounds in aqueous compositions is opposite effect is favored. The nitrogen flow in the range of 30 to 150 cm3 min-1, does not influence the formation-destruction of the functional groups present in organic and aqueous compounds, but 200 cm3 min-1 adversely affects the yield of liquid product total. Porous films formed by a semiconductor ZnO-NiO (% mol) doped with Au nanoparticles (3% mol) were prepared by sol-gel method using nickel acetate tetrahydrate (NiC4H6O4.4H2O) and zinc acetate dihydrate (C4H6O4Zn.2H2O) as precursors, methanol (CH6OH) and ethanol (C2H6O) as solvents, monoethanolamine (C2H7NO) and diethanolamine (C4H11NO2) as functional chelants, and chloroauric acid (HAuCl4) as gold precursor. ABSTRACT This work evaluated the influence of the concentration of NaOH (100, 200 and 300 g/L NaOH) in the mercerization process at 25 °C for 1 h, and of the percentage (15, 20 and 25% m/m) of Mauritia flexuosa fibers on impact resistance in a polyester matrix composite. The polyester matrix composite was obtained by the compression molding process, at a constant pressure of 24 MPa. The obtained plates had a dimension of 130 mm long x 80 mm wide x 3.4 mm thick. Specimens for the impact assay were extracted from the obtained plates under the EN ISO 179-1 standard.
