The study focuses on the perception by children, parents, teachers and principals of educational institutions of the three rural regions of Peru about the implementation of the One laptop per child programme. It identifi es basic economic, social and cultural defi ciencies within the population as an obstacle to benefi t from the technological resource and points out the State’s inadequate administrative management. In conclusion, more democratic practices are needed with an emphasis on the pedagogical aspect in order to improve rural education in Peru.

Pollution and environmental deterioration have become the biggest problems in the contemporary world and constitute the thematic reference to be addressed by the educational field. The objective of the research was to propose an educational program to improve environmental awareness in children at the initial level. A qualitative methodology was determined by interviewing teachers and directors, whose perceptions were optimally triangulated. The results showed that there is a need to promote the development of the cognitive, affective, active and conative dimensionality of children at the initial level, who develop in a neglected and abandoned environment. La investigación pretende analizar los efectos de la aplicación de un programa de entrenamiento en escritura en el idioma inglés a través del desarrollo de la competencia de expresión escrita mediante el enfoque orientado en el proceso, en los estudiantes de Idiomas Extranjeros de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación y Humanidades de la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonia Peruana – Iquitos, Perú. Para ello, se dividió la clase Composición en Inglés, de 46 alumnos, en dos grupos: experimental y de control. Al primer grupo se le aplico el programa propuesto y el segundo grupo siguió con el contenido tradicional de la asignatura. Finalmente, el estudio presenta los resultados obtenidos en ambos grupos al finalizar el semestre.

This paper presents an experience in teaching innovation whose goal is to improve learning in engineering students and teachers (University of Seville, Spain). This innovation offers students a realistic, professional and updated vision of the contents, allowing them a direct contact with the problems posed by the knowledge and competence inherent to a subject, using facilities and resources at a high-tech research laboratory. It is an assessment-research case study that uses quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The results show improvement in the students’ learning processes as well as their high satisfaction; it also highlights the difficulties found. The teachers acknowledge this innovation process as a strategy to learn to teach and create improvements for the program.

Objetive: To establish a model of learning evaluation system to ensure the development of those established in the curriculum of the human medicine program of the Universidad Nacional del Santa. Methods: The methodology used was basic, descriptive and quantitative, and the instrument used was a questionnaire, which was applied to a sample of 179 medical students and 76 teachers. Data collection was performed with informed consent through an online Google form, which included 30 items, based on 4 stages: evaluation planning, evaluation stage, evaluation techniques and instruments, and evaluation system model. La presente investigación tuvo como propósito verificar los efectos del programa educativo “Búsqueda de la Excelencia” en proactividad y resiliencia de estudiantes del segundo grado de educación secundaria de una institución educativa privada de Surco – Lima. El estudio empleó un diseño cuasi experimental, denominado diseño de medidas repetidas pretest – intervención – postest con grupo de control. The following investigation has the purpose to evaluate the effects of the application of the program “Playing with sounds” in the level of phonologic conscience in a group of Kindergarten children of 5 years old. We utilized a pre experimental design with a non probabilistic sample of 24 students formed by 15 girls and 9 boys of low economic condition from Callao district. Used the metalinguistic skill test: THM to evaluate the results that we obtained. It was adapted to our context by Noemí Panca before and after applying the program that lasted three months. The results show us a significant performance (after the application of the program) that is bigger than others in all the levels of phonologic conscience. Purpose: This study aims to propose and test a model of educational quality in marketing-management by incorporating resource-capability variables that are linked to learning outcomes for students and the competitive positioning of universities. Design/methodology/approach – Drawing on the resource-dependence theory this study develops a comprehensive model for measuring educational quality. A sample comprising Spanish university teachers has been used to test the hypothesised relationships by using a two-stage least squares regression analysis while controlling for the possible effect of the public/private nature of the university.
