Accurate determination of plant water status is mandatory to optimize irrigation scheduling and thus maximize yield. Infrared thermography (IRT) can be used as a proxy for detecting stomatal closure as a measure of plant water stress. In this study, an open-source software (Thermal Image Processor (TIPCIP)) that includes image processing techniques such as thermal-visible image segmentation and morphological operations was developed to estimate the crop water stress index (CWSI) in potato crops. Results were compared to the CWSI derived from thermocouples where a high correlation was found ( = 0.84). To evaluate the effectiveness of the software, two experiments were implemented. El objetivo del presente estudio fue determinar la prevalencia y describir las lesiones pulmonares de bovinos y porcinos sacrificados en la Procesadora Municipal de Carne de Colima, México, así como establecer su asociación con la procedencia, sexo y edad del animal. Se recolectaron muestras de pulmones de porcinos y bovinos con lesiones mediante visitas semanales durante cuatro meses, recabándose datos sobre su distribución, consistencia y tipo de exudado. Las muestras fueron fijadas en formalina bufferada al 10% para su proceso histológico con técnicas de rutina. De 873 y 2657 bovinos y porcinos sacrificados, 102 (11.7%) y 400 (15.1%) pulmones presentaron lesiones. El principal objetivo del estudio es analizar los procesos de contrataciones por competencia en PETROPERÚ S.A. – Refinación Selva, de manera que exista una optimización representativa en los plazos de ejecución de los procesos de contrataciones por competencia, en el período 2012 – 2016. La investigación fue no experimental de tipo transversal descriptiva y presenta un enfoque cuantitativo, la técnica de recolección de datos fue la revisión de expedientes, que comprendió a 223 procesos adjudicados resultantes de los procesos de Adquisiciones y Contrataciones de Bienes, Servicios y Obras por competencia mayor y menor, información que fue procesada y analizada usando el procesador de Microsoft Excel. El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación es dar a conocer que en un periférico de computadora, el procesador obedece las instrucciones de la memoria del programa que opera sobre los datos en la memoria del operando. Los operadores binarios y unarios proporcionan la capacidad de procesamiento básica de la máquina. A nivel de hardware, se necesitan señales de control para indicar que los datos del bus son válidos y para especificar el tipo de datos. El hardware externo interpreta esta información para garantizar que utiliza los datos correctamente.

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo general reducir los costos operativos de la PROCESADORA AGROINDUSTRIAL S.R.L. mediante propuestas de mejora bajo la filosofía TPM en el Área de Producción, y herramientas de mejora del Lean Manufacturing como DEMAIC en el área de logística en la línea de producción. En primer lugar, se realizó un diagnóstico de la situación actual en el Área de Producción y área de logística. Este artículo considera una versión alternativa del modelo de inventarios de mercancías bajo expectativas racionales, donde tanto especuladores como firmas procesadoras almacenan productos. El modelo identifica tanto los inventarios llevados por los procesadores como aquellos descritos por el modelo de oferta de inventarios. Sin embargo, en lugar de usar el motivo de conveniencia (retornos por conveniencia), la demanda por inventarios es derivada a partir de un modelo microeconómico de inventarios de firmas manufactureras (Ramey 1989).
