This document discusses about utopias as a cultural resource fully loaded with desires and ambitions. Its analysis enables us to interpret the human condition and our symbolic world. On the one hand, this text examines the underlaying motivations of these kinds of models; on the other hand, it explores the consequences of utopia’s embodiment in the real world. The purpose of this article is to reflect on the role of utopias throughout the history of thought.

This paper report Dinofurcula cf. ventralis, a very rare dinoflagellate that has not been recorded for Peruvian Pacific since their original description. Also, it reports Protoperidinium thulesense and Protoperidinium paulseni for the first time in Peru. The observations proceeded of the samples collected periodically between 1992-2004 in the Ancón Bay (77º11' W −11º46' S).

Temporal variations at small scale of the coastal marine phytoplankton assemblages were studied. Water samples were collected at a fixed station in Bahia Independencia (Pisco-Peru). The sampling took place in the morning (08:00 h.) and afternoon (15:00 h) over a period of 29 days (March 28 to April 25, 1988). Surface temperatures also were taken, fluctuating from 15,4 °C to 17,2 °C. Diatoms were the principal component of the phytoplankton community and were more related with the total of phytoplankton. Other groups as Dinoflagellates, Coccolitophorids, Silicoflagellates and small flagellates were present but were less important. Skeletonema costatum was the dominant specie during the first nine days of sampling, after that it was substituted by Thalassionema nitzschioides, which remained as dominant until the end of the study. This articule studies democratic transition based on the Peruvian case (1977-1980). In this article we present the results of applying the technique of electrostatic separation to minerals containing rare earths. The presence of La, Ce, Sm, Pr and Nd in the initial sample was verified by ICP-MS analysis. Hematite and non-conductive minerals such as dolomite and feldspar-K were concentrated by electrostatic separation. On the other hand, through SEM-EDS it was proved that the rare earth elements belong to the monazite mineral (La, Ce, Nd) PO4 and that this is associated to Feldspar-K.

This paper analyzes the different meanings of the connector but in differentcommunicative situations. It also verifies its applicability in Peruvian short-storieswritten by different authors. It is known that grammar deals with the study ofthis connector semantically as a contradiction, i.e., that it joins two propositions ofopposing ideas. Besides, grammar analyzes it as a restrictive connector. However,in various real situations it assumes varied meanings that have not been properlystudied by grammar yet.

En este artículo se presentan los resultados de aplicar la técnica de separación electrostática a minerales que contienen tierras raras. Se verificó la presencia de La, Ce, Sm, Pr y Nd en la muestra inicial mediante análisis de ICP-MS. Por medio de la separación electrostática se concentraron minerales conductores la hematita y no conductores como dolomita y feldespato-K. Por otro lado, mediante SEM-EDS se comprobó que los elementos de tierras raras pertenecen al mineral monacita (La, Ce, Nd)PO4 y que éste se encuentra asociado al Feldespato-K.

El presente trabajo está basado en el análisis espacio-temporal del ave fragata (Fregata magnificens) relacionado a temperatura y salinidad superficial del mar y el índice ICEN, mediante el análisis multivariado de componentes principales, cuya respuesta es la distribución espacio temporal de la especie, explicando la asociación de la distribución con los eventos anómalos positivos El Niño 2015-2016 y El Niño Costero 2017. The highly productive waters of the Humboldt Current System (HCS) host a particular temperate ecosystem within the tropics, whose history is still largely unknown. The Pisco Formation, deposited during Mio-Pliocene times in the Peruvian continental margin has yielded an outstanding collection of coastal-marine fossils, providing an opportunity to understand the genesis of the HCS ecosystem. We present a comprehensive review, completed with new results, that integrates geological and paleontological data from the last 10 My, especially focusing on the southern East Pisco Basin (Sacaco area). We discuss the depositional settings of the Pisco Formation and integrate new U/Pb radiometric ages into the chronostratigraphic framework of the Sacaco sub-basin. Los objetivos del estudio se orientaron a disponer de materiales educativos sobre el cuidado de la salud y prevención de la parasitosis, adaptados a la realidad de los niños de áreas geográficas consideradas dentro del Plan Integral de Intervención de las Parasitosis Intestinales, con el fin de ofrecerlos a la comunidad docente de centros de educación inicial y primaria, como una forma de apoyar su labor educativa en estos temas y de promover la práctica de comportamientos saludables mediante acciones sostenidas de participación intersectorial y de toda la colectividad.

Introduction: the aim of this study was to determine the association between the perception of the virtual learning environment and the social presence in Physiotherapy students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Material and method: the design was observational, cross-sectional and analytical. The perception of the virtual learning environment and social presence were measured through the Spanish version of the Distance Learning Education Environments Survey and Networked Minds Social Presence Measure questionnaires, respectively. The survey was sent to 223 students, but only 65 entered the research. Results: it was found that 76.9 % had regular internet quality, 84.6 % used a laptop as the main technological device for the study and 72.3 % indicated that the use of the device was exclusive.
