(salvia, pacha salvia, kotapuriña) es una especie vegetal que crece en Argentina, Bolivia y Perú y es usada popularmente contra cólicos, fiebre tifoidea, reumatismo, afecciones hepáticas y malaria. Los objetivos de esta investigación fueron evaluar 53 especies vegetales procedentes de la región andina y amazónica del País y determinar las de mayor actividad antioxidante; separar e identificar el (los) compuesto(s) responsable de la actividad en Lepechinia meyenii (Walp.)

The possession of integral models that allow to dimension new knowledge continues being a challenge to demonstrate. The purpose of study was to describe a methodological cognitive model for the generation and contribution of scientific results. Through the quantitative technique by content analysis, the proposed model was constructed, which consisted of three processes: 1st) management of scientific information, 2nd) cognitive interpretation; and 3rd) scientific writing. Each process derives recognition structures in a transitional manner, which makes it possible to, the construction towards a validated information. It was concluded that, in any field of research, it is required from the capture of primary information until the new scientific communication achieved as far as the proposed model allowed.

La adquisición sostenible de fuentes naturales en vitaminas y minerales constituye una garantía a la salud pública. El propósito del estudio fue evaluar el consumo nutricional de frutas y vegetales en una población piloto de Ica, Perú. Se realizó una observación no estructurada a distancia donde se seleccionó, dos puntos de ventas referidos al consumo de frutas y vegetales. Mediante un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia se midió cada 15 días (sábado) en dos horarios (08:30–10:30 y 14:30–16:30), el consumo según el tipo de fruta mientras que, la frecuencia se comprobó por el número de personas que adquirieron, frutas y vegetales.
