The purpose of the study was to evaluate research training for prospective and methodological learning in university students. The study was developed in April 2019 with students from the 10th cycle of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, belonging to the National University "San Luis Gonzaga", Ica-Peru. The trainin course "Thesis project and scientifi c research thesis for university students" was considered. The population sample was of 18 university students, and through non-probability sampling, by convenience (afternoons: Tuesday and Thursday), the number of attendance was measured, while the research training (FI) was measured on Thursday afternoon. The aim of the study was to analyze the educational training, research and innovation in university teachers through a contemporary critical precept. Indicates that the social dynamics is based on patterns and analytical indicators of changes, experiences of the actors involved, in addition to the evaluative criterion by specialists in the type of method and creation of theories about the practices accumulated during the events of phenomena, processes, events or relevant events such as the demonstration of assumptions. El objetivo del estudio fue analizar la formación educativa, investigación e innovación en docentes universitarios mediante un precepto crítico contemporáneo.
