The purpose of the study was to evaluate research training for prospective and methodological learning in university students. The study was developed in April 2019 with students from the 10th cycle of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, belonging to the National University "San Luis Gonzaga", Ica-Peru. The trainin course "Thesis project and scientifi c research thesis for university students" was considered. The population sample was of 18 university students, and through non-probability sampling, by convenience (afternoons: Tuesday and Thursday), the number of attendance was measured, while the research training (FI) was measured on Thursday afternoon.
