Comprehensive reparation is one of the main rights that victims have when they are affected by a victimizing event in the midst of an armed conflict, regardless of its nature. Colombia has experienced one of the bloodiest internal armed conflicts that has generated a high number of victims. Therefore, by means of the qualitative method with a descriptive approach, we will study whether comprehensive reparation in Colombia has been effective. To this end, an approach to the armed conflict in Colombia will be made. Subsequently, the term comprehensive reparation adopted in the Inter-American system will be reviewed and grounded in the Colombian case. The results show that the victims who have been repaired and those who are expected to be repaired by 2026 are not enough, which will become a revictimization for the victim framed in a denial of justice, which goes against their rights as a s...

In response to the question “Why are death and violence determining factors in Colombian literary creation?”, this paper seeks to argue the level of coherence in resistant positions that circulate less massively and advocate for ways of perceiving and representing reality that differ from those already institutionalized by the literary industry. The analysis examines four novels by Colombian writer Tomás González (1983, 2000, 2003, 2010), embedded in aesthetic dialogues that define the state of the art of national literature. The conclusion drawn is that the author's narrative not only recreates the dialectic between literary creation and the total collapse of the social universe in which death and violence are represented, but also creates new spaces of meaning.

The aim of this study is to evidence the importance to know the difficulties that implies the Spanish teaching and learning in high and low context cultures. This promotes a better communication between people and it promotes the dissemination of knowledge and a better global conviviality. This research will be focused in giving relevant information that will help in the teaching process for the Spanish teachers as a foreign language for English and Chinese speakers. This research presents a qualitative approach and was conducted through the triangulation of expert interviews, documentary analysis and anecdotal records. This study demonstrated that there is no single learner profile that contemplates valid characteristics for all Chinese and English-speaking learners, nor is there any magic recipe that facilitates the respective teaching-learning process. However, it is important to pay ...

To determine the mix of fertilizers, natural and synthetic, that optimize the quality of an agricultural soil, the present work was carried out in Pampa del Arco, Ayacucho, with agricultural soil at rest (for five years) under cover of Pennisetum clandestinum. The experimental unit consisted of plastic buckets for 20 kg of soil with tomato cultivation. The July 3 design was used for two factors (a: natural fertilizer, compost; b: synthetic fertilizers, NPK). Soil quality and crop health were evaluated. The results found allow us to conclude the following: 1. The quality of the soil undergoes significant changes according to the mix of fertilizers, being more damaging those that carry high levels of synthetic fertilizer; On the contrary, compost contributes to maintaining an adequate rate of water infiltration in the soil profile. The application of synthetic compost, without compost, aff...

The aim of this study was to evaluate the induction and recovery time of Dormitator. latifrons maintained in fresh and brackish water, exposed to four doses of eugenol. A total of 240 organisms were individually transferred to an aquarium with 15 L of fresh water (0 UPS) or brackish water (20 UPS) with the eugenol dose of each treatment (42.5, 85, 170 and 255 mg/L). In each treatment, 30 fish were analysed. The induction time did not show significant differences between salinity levels, while the recovery time was significantly higher in brackish water (706 s) than in fresh water (507 s) (p<0.05). In both salinities, increasing the eugenol dose decreases the induction time and increases the recovery time. The results indicate that the effective dose of eugenol for D. latifrons is 170 mg/L in both salinities; however, for short-term procedures, immersion at a dose of 42.5 mg/L would be...

OBJECTIVES: To review the main features of hip replacements, both partial and total, performed at the Hospital Nacional Guillermo Almenara, Lima-Peru, between 1995-1997. METHODS: a descriptive, cross-sectional, observational and partially prospective review of 232 clinical records from 325 surgical hip replacements. RESULTS: Patients with ages between 59 and 70 years old (60% females), most of them were homeworkers and come from Lima. Coxofemoral artrosis was the commonest etiology conducing to a total arthroplasty, and femoral head fracture the cause of partial arthroplasty. The most frequent short term complication was surgical wound infection, being S. epidermidis the main pathogenic microorganism isolated, and the most frequent long-term complication was dislocation of the implant. Mortality, as direct cause, was uncommon, and it is associated to patient self-characteristics. Total r...

The main purpose of administrative management within small enterprises is the maximization of the profits obtained from the accomplished activity, inevitably requiring high rates of productivity in their workers, who in turn maintain varied motivations derived from both internal and external factors that determine the behavior evidenced within the performance of their functions and daily activities. From the above, the problem analyzed in the present work establishes the aspects of the administrative management that affect the motivation that small companies’ workers have for the performance of their work. The article presents a literature review on the motivational aspects that people have and a description of the factors that motivate workers in the performance of their duties. A survey was carried out on a sample of 200 plant workers and 6 operating heads working in 6 small manufact...

In the special issue 2015, volume 76 of its prestigious journal, the short communication was published: "Student desertion in science careers health in Peru," Heredia et al (1). In this communication, it shows a real problem that occurs not only in our country, in relation to the training of human resources in health: desertion. We agree that the problem is multifactorial and often the impact of this decision is final, not only for students but for the family environment that had certain expectations and see how you lose your investment in time and resources; just as society does, by providing the opportunity for training, leaving aside other person who applied and did not get that vacancy wasted.
