The complexity in our programs increases along with the problems we deal with. A way of solving them is to repeat more than once the same structures, just like traditional or imperative programming accustomed us to. This article explores the relationships among C++ templates, generic programming and the ability to develop statistics computations and generation of codes. Several developers use languages of high level to developers use languages of high level to develop applications in scientific computation; and the mechanism of templates in C++ allows them to solve important problems in the design of libraries of class.

The advancement of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) has transformed various fields, including education, generating debates about its impact on learning. In this context, the present study aimed to analyze the perception of academic use of GAI among university students from six universities in southern Peru. A structured questionnaire with 16 items was applied to 280 students from different majors, evaluating three dimensions: assistance in academic writing, support in academic tasks, and critical evaluation, using a five-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. This paper develops two synthesis tools for sound waveforms, namely, tone synthesizer and a ADSR(Attack, Decay, Sustein and Release) generator to form the tone amplitude. Such tools are coded in Matlab and programmed in a Motorola DSP568. By employing the musical synthesis tool of Matlab. previously installed into a personal computer, we are able to modify the period of a waveform sound corresponding to an instrument. It is worth to mention that musical sounds synthetized in this way can be transmitted by means of modems.

This work presents the dynamic modeling of a refrigeration machine evaporator that uses CO2 (R744) as refrigerant fluid, for the cooling down of a liquid water stream, as required for instance by buildings air handling units. The main goal of such a work is to accurately model the transient evolution of the evaporator outlet superheat, which is one of the main parameters to control, due to its importance in refrigeration systems. A high value of superheat temperature reduces the performance of the system, while a low or null value can generate the suction of liquid which damages the compressor. The implementation of an automatic control system in the fire-tube boiler of the Unit Operations Laboratory of the FIQT-UNI was performed to improve the utilization of the steam generated by it. The first point implemented had been an automatic purge using a ladder programming language established in a relay. This system allows the automatic purge by using a pneumatic valve; the second point was the implementation of a monitoring system, supervision and data logging of the temperature flue gas and as a last point, the implementation of a portable flue gas analyzer and the total steam duct insulation in order to minimize energy losses.The best results of this research could be applied ,through the same process, on an industrial level in industries which use boilers as their heart for their various processes in order to obtain improvements in their processes and in their operation costs.

University education faces a future influenced by generative artificial intelligence (AI), especially with tools like ChatGPT. The objective of this study was to map the literature to identify benefits, challenges, and ethical solutions. A bibliometric analysis and narrative review approach were used for documents from Web of Science (WOS) and Scopus in July 2024. A total of 792 WOS and 144 Scopus documents were analyzed using the search equations "Generative artificial intelligence" OR ChatGPT AND "Academic integrity." The data were processed using Bibliometrix and VOSViewer software. The article analyzes the uses and interpretations of the services of a Senior Activity Center program (Centros del Adulto Mayor - CAM) by its users and the professionals who direct it in a low-income urban district of Lima, Peru. Based on ethnographic research, and revealed the way a public policy builds an «ideal old age» which is promoted by their services. This is not passively assumed by the professionals who implement the program locally. They reinterpret their guidelines based on their common sense and experience which generates contradictions and a partial reproduction of prejudices related to old age. On the other hand, users use the program as a mechanism to deal with moments of crisis that were experienced at this stage of their lives. In today’s business environment, talent management has become a crucial discipline for achieving sustainable competitive advantage. This study focuses on the talent acquisition and retention policies of Generation Z in Spanish family businesses, a significant sector in the country’s economy. Using a mixed approach of qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys, it explores the perceptions of managers and young employees on talent management policies. The results reveal that although many companies implement effective practices, there are significant differences in adapting to generational change. Factors such as fluid communication, continuous training and the inclusion of employees in strategic decision-making are key to the retention of young talent.
