This article investigates digital reading practices in secondary school educational spaces. From the framework of the New Literacy Studies, we analyze scenes in Language and Literature classrooms of second year secondary level which were recorded during a fieldwork with an ethnographic perspective. The purpose of the article is to account for the characteristics of literate practices in order to analyze how digital texts are read and how is the inclusion of digital technologies in the reading process. From the analysis of digital reading scenes in the classroom, we propose, first, a categorization to classify the different types of digital texts according to their forms of production, circulation and affordances. El análisis que aparecerá en las páginas que siguen se sitúa en el componente occidental que alimenta -al lado del referente cultural propiamente andino- la representación social de la Nueva corónica y buen gobierno de Felipe Guamán Poma de Ayala. Poma de Ayala fue un indio ladino que vivió en el virreinato del Perú, entre fines del siglo XVI y principios del XVII. Desde una doble perspectiva -indígena y española- produjo un discurso dirigido a Felipe III, donde daba cuenta del caos que la colonización había producido en el virreinato. A través del relato sobre un mundo que "está al revés", Poma presenta una rica información no sólo de su realidad inmediata sino también de sus ideas acerca de la sociedad. Lo que aquí busco, concretamente, es develar lo que hay de la mentalidad europea en la manera en que Poma contempla, valora y propone modificar su entorno.

This text offers an overview of the reception, acceptance of the work of Ricardo Palma at various times in our history, from the publication of the first collection of the Peruvian Traditions (1872). There are some reactions of Peruvian critics and intellectuals about the work of the traditionist, although references are also made to those of other nationalities (Ibero-American), making references to the existing cultural and political environment. It concludes with the re-meaning of life and work of Palma, based on the actions of the Ricardo Palma Institute, in the new century, and its impact on the interest of the author of the traditions.

Foucault and Benjamin exploited different themes and categories from Marx’s Capital, in accordance with their topics of interest and theoretical and political options. Foucault concentrated on the analysis of the relations of production as it concerned the disciplining of the working class by capital. Benjamin, based on the commodity fetishism, on the fascination of consumption and the mere patent consumer display in department stores. Both interpretations of Marx are treated in this article as complementary and convergent. In effect, starting from Marxian foundations, they allow us to trace a well-equipped genealogy of the submission of living beings to the modern relation of capital: a submission that continues under new forms in current capitalism. This text ends concluding this, opening a path yet to explore at the same time.

This paper is a reading on Nancy Fraser's political thinking based mainly on the text From distribution to recognition? Dilemmas of justice in the <<postsocialist>> age. We argue that it is possible to find significant contributions from the North American thinker that would allow for the articulation of policies that go beyond both identity politics and economic issues, enabling fundamental mixtures for a society to come. We reflect on how Fraser's proposal would make sense with new directions and how it would account for elements currently under debate that could set up a new framework of meaning from the field of political theory.

The purpose of this work was to analyze the working memory like a cognitive model envolved in lexical tasks and individual differentiation on capacity of Reading. The subjects were 163 students of public and particular schools. In this study we elaborated a new “reading span test” agreement with suggestions from Daneman and Carpenter (1980), adapted to children students. That instrument was correlated with the subtest of Number from WISC, inverted form. The validity assessment between both tests was made with Spearman’s coefficient of correlation. The consequence of that assessment showed rRHO = 0,47; it should prove both tests contain the function of processing (or computation) proper of the working memorysystem. Then, that “reading span test” is an adequate instrument to measure individual differences about capacity of reading only in similar subjects like those we studied.

It is of great importance to understand the necessity to promote emotional regulation in children in order to improve their reading comprehension. In the current health crisis, which is studied in relation to Argentina, emotional bonds and learning must be developed using the available digital tools.
