This research attempts to measure the impacts of urban public policies of local governments. All urban public policies implement transformation processes in the economic and social division of the intervened spaces. It almost always involves a deterioration in the living conditions of displaced groups, due to the gentrification processes generated. This article initially presents the context of the place of study and then an updated theoretical discussion of the concept of gentrification is carried out, understanding that it is a consequence of neoliberal public policies. This discussion is evaluated within two typical dimensions of the processes of gentrification, inequality and violence, and both are intertwined within the imaginary. In the years 2006 and 2007, urban public policies to update regulations were implemented in Miraflores, generating, in some sectors such as the Santa Cruz...

Through coordination between the Regional Government of Cusco, UNESCO and the World Bank, the Plan for Mobility and Public Space Cusco 2025 was born. This plan aimed to order the vehicular system of the city, generate neighborhoods where the population can occupy the public space enjoying the streets, parks and squares, and implement a new urban transport model consisting of a main route with intelligent traffic lights. The process of formulating this plan has been surrounded by technical, political and coordination conflicts between the different institutions involved. Additionally, it came into conflict with the city models and the interests of different local actors, such as the residents of the city center, the tourism companies, among others. This paper aims to identify the factors that hindered the development of the Cusco Plan by 2025, placing special emphasis on the definitions of...

The article's objective was the implementation of the lean manufacturing methodology in the production process of an air conditioning metal processing plant. For this, the methodology of 2 phases was used. The company and its current operation, structure, products, and work plan are presented in the first phase, demonstrating its main deficiencies. In phase 2, an improvement plan was made with lean manufacturing tools applied to the deficit of phase 1. As a result of the implementation of these tools, 64%, 80%, 71% and 50% of space in the measuring, cutting, bending, and welding stations, respectively, and an improvement in production times were obtained. Based on the study results, it is concluded that the application of lean manufacturing benefited the company by drastically improving its production process and work environment.

This article of empirical and interpretive nature aims to offer a contribution to the discussion of “Incubators” as research spaces in the formation of the novice researcher. It is a product of reflections carried out by the authors on the subject and discussions carried out with undergraduate and graduate young people who aspire to be researchers in the field of education. It is based on a reference framework related to: a) research as a systematic process that is learned and taught and; b) competences in research for the training of novice researchers. It is based on the assumption that to do a research in the field of Education Sciences is complex. However, this makes them fertile and an incubator for research competences. It is concluded with the proposal of three actions or paths associated with the training of novice researchers: to) the institutionalization of “Incubators”...

Nowadays, an engineer’s work consists more and more of obtaining mathematical models of the studied processes. Great part of the literature referring to system identification deals with how to find polynomial models as Prediction Error Methods (PEM) and Instrumental Variable Methods (IVM). In case of complex systems, the state space model appears as an alternative to PEM and IVM models. For multivariable systems, these methods provide reliable state space models directly from input and output data. As systems of large dimensions are usually found in industry, the application of subspace identification algorithms in this field is very promising. Currently the subspaceidentification models Multivariable Output Error State sPace (MOESP) and Numerical algorithms for Subspace State Space System IDentification (N4SID), are topic of study. The objective of this work is to implement th...

This Review Article is presented based on current scientific evidence on space medicine focused on human physiology and its countermeasures. Therefore, a non-systematic bibliographic search of scientific articles and research books in English-Spanish of the last 7 years was carried out, detailing their application in humans, murine models and in vitro experiments. The conditions of the space environment such as microgravity and radiation that produce considerable physiological changes in the cardiovascular system (redistribution of fluids, cardiovascular remodeling, arrhythmias) were taken into account; nervous (sensorimotor, neurosensory, neurovestibular); respiratory (volume and capacity changes); renal (lithiasis); musculoskeletal (muscular atrophy, osteoporosis); hematological (anemia); immunological (immune dysregulation) and digestive (intestinal microbiota disorder). In addition, ...

When you want to develop and test software products for complex systems such as airplanes, space shuttles, satellites, automobiles or nuclear plants, one of the biggest drawbacks is the availability of the physical system, due to the great complexity, risks and costs involved in performing tests on the real system. Software in the Loop (SITL) allows us to test algorithms, source code or control strategies for complex systems within a simulation that contains the mathematical model of the real physical system. This research work proposes the use of a Software in the Loop platform for the development of an autopilot system for a fixed-wing aircraft. The architecture of the implemented application, the software design process, the protocols used, the control strategies, the programming techniques, the results obtained and the conclusions are shown herein.

The people of the Valles Region and specifically Ameca, Jalisco, México is a traditional society, apparently peaceful. However, in 2016 the Government of Jalisco State issued an Alert for Gender Violence against Women (AVGM), currently in force (https://www.jalisco.gob. mx/es/gobierno/ communications/alert-of-gender-violence-against-women, February 2016, paragraph 5). In addition to the above, there are factors such as gender inequality and the presence of cultural factors that promote stereotyped gender roles, found in the Diagnosis of Violence Against Women in Ameca (Municipal Institute for Women of Ameca -IMMA-, 2019 ) and the Situational Diagnosis of Women in Ameca (IMMA, 2019). With with the objective of raising awareness about the reality of violence experienced by women in Ameca, the need to increase their safety and to build new meanings a “Gender Studies Workshop for Wo...

The article presents a case study of a hybrid classroom experience in a university class of Social Communication in Colombia, in which an affinity space was built through the use of information and communication technologies (ICT). Using the theories of affinity space (Gee, 2003, 2005, 2017) and connected learning (Ito et al., 2013) and based on qualitative data collected during four iterations of the class “Communication and Interactivity” (2019-2, 2020-1, 2020-2 and 2021-1), the case reflects on the process of building an affinity space and on the design and implementation of a collective blog as a tool for teaching and learning. By analyzing of the contents and interactions created in the affinity space, particularly in the blog, I inquire about the possibilities for innovation offered by designing environments that are production-centered, networked, and that have a shared purpos...

The research, conducted on a microtextile manufacturing workshop allowed the approach of university life with the reality of micro enterprises in the Northern Cone of Lima. First diagnosis microenterprise is made, both in terms of production process and commercial. A workshop was found whose operations are conducted in a relatively small space, without corresponding data sheets. The implementation of 5S had the active participation of the owner and staff of the micro enterprise, the same that had the most runtime in the first three S (select, seiri, organize, seiton; and clean, seiso). The central finding of the research is positive and significant change in the perceived quality of the staff of the micro enterprise, realizing the importance of the implementation of this tool.
