The people of the Valles Region and specifically Ameca, Jalisco, México is a traditional society, apparently peaceful. However, in 2016 the Government of Jalisco State issued an Alert for Gender Violence against Women (AVGM), currently in force (https://www.jalisco.gob. mx/es/gobierno/ communications/alert-of-gender-violence-against-women, February 2016, paragraph 5). In addition to the above, there are factors such as gender inequality and the presence of cultural factors that promote stereotyped gender roles, found in the Diagnosis of Violence Against Women in Ameca (Municipal Institute for Women of Ameca -IMMA-, 2019 ) and the Situational Diagnosis of Women in Ameca (IMMA, 2019).
