The intervention program based on the five stages of the Amabile´s creative process was applied to a group of second year students majoring in industrial design considering the combination of intellectual attributes, cognitive style, personality and strategies. There was an effort to eliminate barriers to creativity, creating a suitable atmosphere that encouraged adequate attitudes to develop creative skills. Results show that creative programs in schools, adapted to students’ characteristics, will promote an increase in creative skills.

In the field of education and technology companies, online judges play an important role in the development of programming skills because on these platforms students must solve challenges using specific programming languages. However, the sheer number of coding challenges available can be overwhelming for students, leading to frustration and loss of interest. To resolve this situation, recommender systems can be an effective solution. However, programming judges have not delved far enough into this area. Therefore, this research focused on evaluating six artificial intelligence techniques through a cloud-based architecture for the prediction of the level of difficulty from the statements of the problems to be coupled to a recommendation system. To validate the experiments, a real CodeChef programming judge was used and the experiments were evaluated through statistical tests. The results...

This article presents the analysis of the graduation profiles declared by the Education Doctoral programs in Chilean territory. This process was carried out in accordance with a Standard Graduation Profile, which spells out the competencies that a future doctor must possess after training. This profile includes the competences required in the current globalized context, taking into consideration national and international documentation, as well as the opinions of the doctoral students. Accordingly, it intends to analyze the consistency of each of the declared graduation profiles with respect to the standard graduation profile. The nature of the method used is descriptive and quantitative, with a cross-sectional design, using descriptive and association techniques. The results include the quantification of the disciplinary, methodological, instrumental, and generic competencies declared i...

Objective: To evaluate the advantages of using movies as a tool in the teaching-learning process in medicine and health sciences PhD programs. Materials and methods: Twenty-one (21) PhD students participated in the study: nine (09) from the Universidad de San Martín de Porres (USMP) and twelve (12) from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM). Thirteen (13) were males and eight (08) were females. Males’ average age was 43.54 and females’ was 56.75. The advantages of using movies in the courses of medicine and health sciences PhD programs were evaluated with a four-part questionnaire, out of which three (03) parts collected quantitative data (in scale from 1 to 10) and one (01) obtained qualitative data. Results: The average score of the answers of the first part (watching movies before classwork) was 9.60, the average score of the second part (classwork) was 9.67 and th...

The study conducted is an applied experiment whose goal was to ascertain the impact of using the program's experiential experiences in evaluating instructors at I.E. N ° 5168 Rosa Luz in the Puente Piedra district in 2018. This study takes an experimental approach. This study's depth or breadth provides context for its findings. The instrument underwent a process of validity and reliability before being applied, and a structured questionnaire was prepared for the evaluation of teachers; the population was made up of 40 teachers from I.E. N ° 5168 Rosa Luz of the Puente Piedra district; the sample was split into two groups, each of which included 20 educators; and the two groups were compared to one another. The program's five sessions were built through the instructors' collaboration over the course of two hours; each session began with a pre-session assessment, moved through the progr...

The main objective of this study was the design and implementation of instruments to evaluate teacher’s performance in a higher education distance unit of a public mexican university. The process consisted of an eight-stage program, based on information generated by interviews, group discussions and document revisions. As a result, three instruments were designed and implemented to collect information from different perspectives: from the student, the supervisor and the evaluated person himself.

In this study, an analysis of pre-trial proceedings is made, given the new scenario of programming virtual hearings and the subsequent procedural burden that will arise once the state of emergency is lifted. Moreover, operational aspects are raised for the correct application of this procedural institution and statistical data on its use in specialized courts in different parts of the country are evaluated, in order to reevaluate the advantages of pre-trial proceedings as a tool for procedural simplification that leads to an expeditious, effective and timely resolution.

The incorporation of morphometric data into cladistic analyses poses methodological challenges, particularly in handling continuous characters and landmark configurations in matrices that include multiple individuals per taxon. Although the program TNT (Tree analysis using New Technology) has integrated functionalities for directly analysing continuous and morphogeometric characters, there remains a need for complementary tools that facilitate data preparation and processing. In this context, we present two open-source applications developed in Python: py_tps2tnt and py_tm2tnt. The former transforms TPS files containing multiple individuals per taxon, performs Procrustes alignments, calculates mean configurations, computes centroid size ranges, allows the selection of inter-landmark distances, and exports various types of data into TNT-compatible formats. The latter, py_tm2tnt, focuses o...

This article presents an experience carried out by the faculty of the third year of the Infant Education degree at the Ramon Llull University in Barcelona (Spain). A proposal for multidisciplinary intervention that joins two modules: one for arts (musical, corporal, visual, and plastic education) and another for sciences (mathematics, and experimental and social sciences). The intervention stems from a generating idea—the book “Alice in Wonderland”—which allows for connections between the contents of the modules, involves co-teaching, multidisciplinary work, and shared evaluation experiences. The aim of the study is to get to know the perception of the participating faculty about the changes in the didactic components involved in the experience. For data collection, semi-structured interviews were carried out at three moments of the process and a discussion group at the end. The ...
