In this paper, we propose an optimization model for medical services processes to reduce waiting time using process mining. In medical services, there is a high percentage of dissatisfaction with medical care due to the processes related to appointment booking and waiting time for medical consultation. As a result, patients change medical services due to the urgency of the symptoms they suffer, generating distrust in health services in Peru. Through a medical information system, events of medical care processes are collected for analysis using the Celonis tool. The process mining discipline uses the discovery of the study process to identify existing bottlenecks in the process and violations that are included when monitoring process events. The proposed model is based on identifying the existing bottlenecks in the processes, which are appointment booking and office care, as these process...

In this paper, we present a novel system that combines process discovery and conformance checking to optimize resource usage in the operations area of banking companies. Our proposed system improves upon previous solutions by integrating real-time process mining techniques to reduce resource consumption in banking operations. The use of real-time process mining techniques in the proposed system enables faster error identification in processes, emphasizing the importance of such techniques for banking companies. The system is comprised of two integrated process mining techniques, as reported in existing literature. Process discovery involves two key components: dataset generation and process visualization. Additionally, compliance checking involves process monitoring, alerts, and reports. To validate the effectiveness of our system, we conducted a stress test, which was evaluated by exper...

The study sample is a refractory ore with an average grade of 19.31 g/TM provided by artisanal miners in the area and Yanga from the province of Canta, Lima. The mineralogy of the sample showed the presence of the following minerals: Gold, Chalcopyrite, covellite, chalcocite, sphalerite, pyrite, arsenopyrite, magnetite, hematite, goethite, rutile and bargains as photos indicate 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. The minerals found in larger volumes are bargains, Pyrite and Chalcopyrite in photo 6 are interlaced with gold particles chalcopyrite and pyrite, with the larger size of 17 microns of gold. In the first phase were carried out metallurgical testing with the hub centrifugal Knelson with 5 kg of sample, gravitational force of 60 G’s and water pressure of 3 psi, for different particle sizes as 52.25%, 60.66%, 67.13% and 74.64% - 200 mesh. The metallurgical balances indicate that the best test is...

The objective of this study is to present the andragogical model and its benefits in its application to safety training in Peruvian mining. Based on the andragogical characteristics, this thesis explains the andragogical principles, the importance of adult education, the difference between learning and teaching of children and adults, the characteristics of adults and learning methodological strategies for the effective training of miners. Safety training in this industry is a must for the acquisition of behaviors that can reduce the number of accidents and incidents at work. The investigation is of applied type and the explanatory level; the design responds to the non-experimental design, the population was made up of those responsible for the safety training programs, and the sample was represented by thirty-one training managers and eight andragogy experts. The techniques used in the ...

The sample which is the subject of this research work is the process of amalgamation tailings, from the district of Lomas, department of the Piura. Provided by the miners in the area. The mineralogical characterization of the samples showed the presence of the following minerals: gold, electrum, pyrite, arsenopyrite, hematite, goethite and ganges. Tests were conducted metallurgical concentrator Falcon to different forces of gravity: 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 G’s, with a particle size of 56.55% - 200 mesh. Metallurgical balances indicate that the best evidence is gathered with 60 G’s, obtaining a concentration of 82.78 g/TC, recovery of 17.76% and 28.55 radio concentration. The results indicate that these teams mostly work as preconcentration. The head trial of this amalgamation tailings is 18.69 g/TC gold and 4.62 ppm of mercury, the average calculated heads is 16.16 g/ TC gold and 3.64 ...

In Peru, work has been carried out in the area of solid mining waste from the mineral flotation process since 2000, where the Ministry of Energy and Mines begins to carry out the inventory of mining environmental liabilities related to abandoned mining activities where it involves acidic waters, dumps, manholes and mining tailings, respectively; coming to the end to prepare the law 28271, law of regulation of the environmental liabilities of the mining activity, promulgated on July 2, 2004. In the Santa river basin the inventory of 153 mining environmental liabilities has been carried out, reaching the conclusion the urgency of conducting research studies to control the alarming contamination of the physical environment in this basin. At the end of the project, it establishes the preliminary technical parameters at the pilot level in relation to the granulometric and mineralogical ...

Student academic performance at universities is crucial for education management systems. Many actions and decisions are made based on it, specifically the enrollment process. During enrollment, students have to decide which courses to sign up for. This research presents the rationale behind the design of a recommender system to support the enrollment process using the students’ academic performance record. To build this system, the CRISP-DM methodology was applied to data from students of the Computer Science Department at University of Lima, Perú. One of the main contributions of this work is the use of two synthetic attributes to improve the relevance of the recommendations made. The first attribute estimates the inherent difficulty of a given course. The second attribute, named potential, is a measure of the competence of a student for a given course based on the grades obtained i...

Past 1990, capitalism has developed a series of gears on its own and proper functioning as world-system, to renew as many times as you want in the face of a crisis that speculates its apocalyptic end. It is capital, first a decisive factor in production, and at the same time a power that does not obey any law on how things have been set and order in the world, it is like that, that the circumstances of the moment have been taken advantage of in some way by networks and economic knots capitalizers common goods. It is on this expansive molding of practical reasons that the economy puneña unfolds day by day, perhaps in the best way, where social relations, modes of production and local economic flows are sufficiently chained to fixed and concentrated economic growth rates in the primary sector, particularly, agricultural and mining, here, is where the big doses of world market strongly pre...

The main objective of this research work was to optimize the recovery of zinc in the second stage of flotation of polymetallic minerals of the company Mines and Metals Trading Peru where its average annual recovery of zinc is 82%. At the concentrator plant, two samplings were carried out, the first one of fresh mineral in the belt No. 01 that feeds the primary grinding and the pulp were obtained from the bulk Pb / Ag flotation tails. During the study, preliminary flotation tests were carried out in order to select the most influential independent variables in the dependent variable using the MINITAB statistical program. Flotation tests were performed varying the dosage of copper sulfate (g / TM) and regrind time (minutes). With the results obtained, the optimization with the Hexagonal Design is carried out, obtaining maximum values of copper sulfate of 351.06 gr / TM and regrinding time ...
