The research was conducted in order to determine the impact of education program on the knowledge and practices of solid waste management of the cleaning staff of reference Hospitals of the Puno-Peru. The study was pre experimental with pre and post test design. The sample was 44 workers determined by inclusion and exclusion criteria. The instrument used to evaluate their knowledge base was a questionnaire. As to the practices, a compliance checklist about handling solid waste by the Ministry of Health was used. The post test was applied 30 days after the application of the educational program. Data analysis was performed on a percentage basis and the testing of the hypothesis test with the Wilcoxon. This article is a reflection in three planes: the first one, how teachers problematize their own practices given the complexity of the scenarios that they must face daily in classrooms; the second one, how teaching problematization is perceived in the academic and school world and the third one, hoy many and how contents, methodological tools and training forms, which are necessary to strengthen teachers’ abilities and attitudes prone to problematization, have been assumed by continuous teaching training programs. It is concluded with a joint reflection that tries to establish the link between these planes.

Inclusive practices include diversity as a resource that favors teaching-learning processes in the classroom, although they focus on the most vulnerable people by offering them higher-quality education. This descriptive study sought to identify the inclusive practices of teachers who train teachers in an Escuela Normal (teachers’ college) in Mexico. The education of programming has between its main objectives, the development and the formation of skills on the part of the students, who make possible the resolution of problems of the school, professional or of the practical life taking into account the different resources that offer the languages of programming. In the training course of computer teachers, this process has some characteristics that distinguish it. The teachers to be must develop the skill and at the same time to appropriate of the necessary procedures to direct this process in the school. This article presents the main results obtained regarding this topic during the teaching learning process of several subjects of Programming in the training of Informatics teachers, with the systematization of living experiences, during nine years.

Endoscopy is a competitive field in clinical practice, in which skilled endoscopists are in high demand. The learning process for Junior Gastrointestinal Endoscopists (JGEs) is difficult, quite long, and technically demanding. This directs JGEs to seek additive learning sources, including online sources. The purpose of this study was to determine the frequency, context, attitudes, perceived benefits, drawbacks, and recommendations for using YouTube videos as an educational platform among JGEs from the uses'prespective. We disseminated a cross-sectional online questionnaire from January 15th to March 17th, 2022, and recruited 166 JGE from 39 different countries. The purpose of this study was to understand how reflection on practice contributes to the teacher training of Chilean university professors. The research was a qualitative type based on the narrative method, and the technique applied was the semi-structured interview. 30 professors from two universities in Chile were interviewed. The main results lead to clarify that the reflection on the teaching practice represents a favorable route for the teacher's training. In particular, three critical aspects that from the voice of the participants contribute to teacher training are recognized: reflections on teaching practice; reflection from dialogue with peers and experts; and reflection on the practice that emerges from the interaction with the students themselves. Only programming fundamentals are taught during computer studies, and skills acquired during the training are not applied in practice. We designed and tested the feasibility of the Smoking Cessation Training Program for Oncology Practice (STOP), a hybrid (face-to-face plus web-based) educational intervention to enhance Spanish-speaking cancer care professionals’ (CCPs’) ability to provide brief smoking prevention and cessation counseling to cancer patients and survivors. Changes in the CCPs’ competencies (knowledge, attitude, self-efficacy, and practices toward smoking and smoking cessation services) were assessed post-training. Sixty CCPs from one major cancer center in Colombia (n = 30) and Peru (n = 30) were invited to participate in a 4-module hybrid training program on smoking prevention and cessation.
