The functional compounds present in food are essential to prevent certain types of cancer, so it is important to know how they vary in the food during storage. The study was conducted in the Puno region in 2019; the objective of the trial was to evaluate the behavior of functional compounds in two accessions of Isaño: Yana añu (purple-dark color) and Yellow pumpkin with purple eyes during storage at natural conditions 13 ºC and 65 % of relative humidity. The method used to determine the polyphenols was the one described by Folin-Ciocalteu; ABTS to determine the CAOX and visual titration with 2-6 Dichlorophenolindophenol to quantify the vitamin C content. There are many varieties of native potatoes grown in different regions of Peru, usually for farmers´ consumption. However, the possibility of a commercial use has led this work in order to give them added value. To evaluate the possibility of use of native starch from these potatoes, as an ingredient in the food industry, it was presented as objective to determine the physicochemical, functional and viscoelastic native potato starches obtained from Pampacorral properties (Cuzco, Peru): Puka Ambrosio (PA), Combe (CO), Perwanita (PER), Kalis qero (KQ), Qello virondos (QEV), Yana churos (YACH), Pitikiña (PI), Yana kusi (YAKU) y Solischa (SOL). La presente investigación planteó como objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la pérdida dental y la función cognitiva en pacientes adultos de una Clínica docente, Lima 2024. Metodología: Fue de corte transversal, no experimental, de alcance relacional, se trabajó con una muestra de 112 pacientes adultos de la Clínica docente de la UPNW, se utilizó la técnica de la observación para la variable pérdida dental, mediante el examen clínico acompañado de una ficha odontológica con un odontograma y datos del paciente. The purpose of this research was to determine the loss of function of the stomatognathic system in relation to the chewing capacity and aesthetic factor in students from 7 to 10 years old at the Independencia School - Puno 2022. De acuerdo con cifras presentadas por el INEI, en los últimos 8 años, la cifra de peruanos que padecen algún tipo de discapacidad se ha duplicado. Contrario a la demanda supuesta, en nuestro país los aparatos protésicos son costosos y escasos, lo que dificulta que los pacientes con pérdida del miembro superior o inferior, a causa de amputación o en casos de deficiencia congénita, tengan acceso a estos. En esta tesis se estudió el algoritmo de optimización de Recocido Simulado (RS), analizando sus características principales, variantes, y los parámetros que afectan sus resultados. Además, se aplicó una de las variantes del RS en el contexto de la reconfiguración de redes de distribución. La reconfiguración de redes de distribución es un problema complejo debido al gran número de configuraciones posibles, cuyo análisis resulta inviable por su alto costo computacional. Un aspecto fundamental en el tratamiento de la ortodoncia es el uso correcto de la biomecánica. Esto adquiere mayor relevancia en pacientes que presentan pérdida de inserción periodontal y más aún si añadimos problemas dentales como agenesia y transposición dentaria. El presente artículo reporta el caso de un paciente femenino de 24 años, que presentaba una maloclusión de Clase III y se logró corregir obteniendo una oclusión estable y funcional, así como la disminución del trauma oclusal inicial. Adicionalmente se mejoró la estética de los dientes en todo el sector anterosuperior debido al desbalance dejado por la agenesia del incisivo central y la transposición del canino.

La corrupción “rompe” la fibra de lo que conocemos como institucionalidad política y económica, siendo una de las consecuencias más críticas la deslegitimización de las organizaciones (estatales, partidos políticos, gremios empresariales, entre otras) y que sean percibidas por los ciudadanos como involucradas orgánicamente en estos actos. Un Estado ineficiente y una burocracia infértil (y corrupta) son dos caras de una misma moneda, que, al no poder establecer las condiciones indispensables para la generación de riqueza, progreso y bienestar de manera sostenible, finalmente coadyuvan a la pérdida de credibilidad en el régimen democrático constitucional y liberal. Revisemos el Latinobarómetro y saquemos nuestras conclusiones. Esta pandemia nos deja una dura lección: “Ética pública, Estado eficiente o morir”.
