The development of creative potential can be influenced by aspects related to the individual himself and his experiences throughout life. The study aimed to identify and analyze aspects related to the path of creative and educational performance of an illustrator, focusing on the role of the teacher. The content of the lives to teach drawing, in the period of the Coronavirus pandemic, and a semi-structured interview were used. The results showed uniqueness in the development and expression in drawing, and in the way of teaching it: combinations between the new and the adapted in teaching and learning of drawing; tension between rules to design and freedom to create; ambivalent role of models as inhibiting and triggering the creation process.

Currently, population growth in cities results in an increase in urban vehicle traffic. That is why it is necessary to improve the quality of life of citizens based on the improvement of transport control services. To solve this problem, there are solutions, related to the improvement of the road infrastructure by increasing the roads or paths. One of the solutions is using traffic lights that allow traffic regulation automatically with machine learning techniques. That is why the implementation of an intelligent traffic light system with automatic learning by reinforcement is proposed to reduce vehicular and pedestrian traffic. As a result, the use of the YOLOv4 tool allowed us to adequately count cars and people, differentiating them based on size and other characteristics. On the other hand, the position of the camera and its resolution is a key point for counting vehicles by detectin...

Reading expands, it is a process to establish a dialogical circle. It is an area where the multiplicity of wonders inhabits, of plural ways of reading. To do this, the classroom library allows readers to build, erect their reading; participating with their experiential certainties, their “appropriations”, from that place that implies meeting and talking, because it is from the contributions of various readers that understanding is built (Cassany, 2003). In this sense, the objective of this article is to expose a critical-creative literary reading experience, from the library itself as a relational space, to share and learn between readings, for the construction of plural assimilations, because it makes sense to share experiences and socialize. what is understood from each reading individuality. Consequently, this paper will show some practices of literary reading mediated by literary...

The advent of generative artificial intelligence (AI) applications, such as ChatGPT, has significantly impacted various aspects of human life, including higher education. This study explores university students’ attitudes toward ChatGPT, focusing on the cognitive, affective, and behavioral components of attitudes, on the basis of Mitcham’s philosophical framework of attitudes toward technology. A total of 595 university students from six public and private universities in northern Peru participated in an online survey. The results of the structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis revealed that the affective component (β = 0.672***) and the cognitive component (β = 0.260**) positively influence the behavioral component of students’ attitudes when ChatGPT is used. Moreover, the cognitive component (β = 0.931***) positively influences the affective component of students’ attitud...

Relevant points of artificial learning are exposed in order to understand it in a simple way, starting from some considerations and comparisons with human learning. The first steps that began the long path of the development of this faculty in machines are narrated, a process that in a short time was reaching unthinkable goals thanks to the joint impulse of microelectronics, computing, and neurosciences. The role of robotic imitation is highlighted as an effective technique to acquire model behaviours, without the need for complex algorithmic processes. Then the sequence that makes it possible for a baby robot to learn is described: Reception / Exploration, Reaction, Reinforcement, Repetition of the routine, Learning proper, and Prediction. It is concluded that the progress of artificial intelligence has generated computational models that today make possible even the autonomous learning...

The diagnostic process of respiratory diseases requires experience and skills to assess the different pathologies that patients may develop. Unfortunately, the lack of qualified radiologists is a global problem that limits respiratory diseases diagnosis. Therefore, it will be useful to have a tool that minimizes errors and workload, improves efficiency, and speeds up the diagnostic process in order to provide a better healthcare service to the community. This research proposes a methodology to detect pathologies by using deep learning architectures. The present proposal is divided into three types of experiments. The first one evaluates the performance of feature descriptors such as SIFT, SURF, and ORB in medical images with machine learning models as an introduction to the last experiment. The second one evaluates the performance of deep learning architectures such as ResNet50, Alexnet,...

Professor Escobar has a recognized career path in international pediatric dentistry, and from that point of view he shows us his Reflections on learning of Pediatric Dentistry in years of pandemic. From his perspective, it is very sobering to take a look at the situation of specialists in Pediatric Dentistry, as a result of this long process of adaptation and learning, which has meant a turning point for professional practice. Most children and adolescents have never experienced a pandemic or even social distancing and strict lockdown, forcing redoubled efforts to avoid the risk of physical and psychological repercussions. The pediatric dentist has the possibility and the competencies to act holistically in front of his patients, take care of children in all the complexity of their biological, psychological and social reality, as the scenario of the pandemic has shown, and promote well-f...

This paper deals with the use of a new term called "artificial education", which is not yet mentioned in writings or works, where it only appears perhaps as the application of artificial intelligence to the educational field. Its objective is to give an understanding of what is likely to be used soon: artificial education, which is nothing more than the application and obtaining many benefits of artificial intelligence in education; the idea that a machine can create updated curricula based on social demands, labor and knowledge societies, also to consider intelligent tutors to guide student learning, creating learning paths that allow them to learn from their mistakes and directing them to the success of each activity. It also discusses some practical cases in the world of this technology and how the teacher's work is being performed. At the same time, a projection is made of what the e...

Introduction: The variations of the intentional monitoring carried out by university students on attributes and temporalities of complex learning are analyzed. Objective: to identify the structural relationships between affective and cognitive attributes considered at different times of performance in two tasks of academic skills. Method: intentional sample of 420 students of Higher Education of Mexico and Colombia, of both sexes, answered: a) an inventory of the self-report on variations in attributes and temporal moments in two different tasks and b) two tests, one of comprehension of texts and another of mathematical skills. The theoretical models underlying the assumed academic performance were validated, empirically, through path analysis. Results: high rates of practical fit in all models, which allows identifying differential influences depending on the temporal condition in which...
