Objective: To determine the relationship between resilience and commitment in nursing students in Tacna, Peru. Material and methods: Nonexperimental, correlational, cross-sectional study. The population was composed of 179 students from the first to fourth year of the Professional School of Nursing of the Jorge Basadre Grohmann National University in Tacna, during the 2019, who were surveyed with prior informed consent, two validated questionnaires were applied. For the analysis, the Chi square statistic was used, with a 95 % confidence. Results: Of the total number of students, 88.8 % were female; 57 % were 19 to 21 year-old; 60.3 % expressed a high level of commitment and 35.8 % a medium level, being this high commitment by dedication (69.3%), vigor (520%) and absorption (55.3 %). 54.7% showed high level resilience and 44.7 % medium level resilie...

The aim of the present study was the adaptation and evaluation of the psychometric properties of the life skills test in young Mexicans. Sample, 275 young students of upper secondary education and undergraduate degree, 43.6% of the Centro Universitario del Sur, 37.8% Centro Universitario de los Valles, and 18.5% of upper secondary education of the University of Guadalajara of the state of Jalisco, México. The 30.5 males and 69.5% women, the range between 16 and 29 years, ME 20 and 2.39. As for the occupation, 90.9% referred to be a student, 8.7% studied and worked and. 4% studied and home. Instrument: Life skills Test. Results. They demonstrate that the life skills test has adequate psychometric properties in this population, so it is an appropriate instrument to measure life skills in young Mexicans.

El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar la relación que existe entre la adicción a las nuevas tecnologías y el estilo de vida saludable en los estudiantes de las instituciones educativas públicas de Juliaca, orientada a establecer si existe relación significativa entre ambas variables. El método utilizado fue el no experimental, el diseño descriptivo correlacional y de tipo aplicativo, la muestra estuvo conformada por 336 estudiantes del 5to grado de secundaria de instituciones públicas de Juliaca, el tipo de muestreo corresponde al aleatorio simple. El presente estudio titulado: "Habilidades para la vida en estudiantes de enfermería de la Universidad Nacional de Cajamarca", tiene como objetivo general determinar qué habilidades para la vida han desarrollado los estudiantes de enfermería, de la Universidad Nacional de Cajamarca, Sección-Jaén. El estudio sigue la línea de investigación propia del paradigma positivista; es de tipo descriptivo-comparativo. La población lo constituyeron 141 estudiantes de enfermería, del primer al quinto afio de estudios durante el año 2012. La muestra estuvo conformada por 103 estudiantes seleccionados mediante muestreo probabilístico, con un nivel de confiabilidad del 95% y una precisión del 5%. En la investigación se determinó la vida en anaquel de pan libre de gluten a base de harina de quinua envasados en polietileno y polipropileno. Las muestras del pan libre de gluten se almacenaron 6 días bajo condiciones ambientales a 20°C y 89% HR; se efectuaron controles de acidez y recuento microbiológico según RM N° 1020-2010/ MINSA. Se determinó para el deterioro microbiológico, reacción de primer orden, R2 de 0,99 para polietileno y 0,93 para polipropileno. La vida útil en función al valor referencial de 1000 ufc/g del pan libre de gluten envasado en polipropileno es 3,27 días y en polietileno 4,13 días.

A landfill is an infrastructure used for the final disposal of non-recyclable wastes. lt is possible to calculate its usetul lifetime by taking into account three cases; the first one assumes that there is no growth in the population, the second that the population doubles every given number of years and the third that the population grows exponentially. The following article presents all three cases in detail; as well as examples to determine the useful lifetime of the landfill (in years).
