The article analyzes the complex relationship between cultural selection of curriculum and the diverse nature of the societies in which it is inserted. From a qualitative approach, we analyze the teachers’ discourses of the Metropolitan Region about their representations on the political issues and the Politics and on the importance of curriculum and its possibilities for the attention to the diversity from the formation in citizenship. Results show the lack of problematization of diversity in this area. New contemporary phenomena such as valuing diversity require greater attention in the current processes of curriculum design for democratic coexistence.

En la investigación se utilizó la metodología cuantitativa, la cual planteó determinar el nivel de la Comprensión Auditiva en los alumnos del primer grado de Educación Secundaria de la Institución Educativa Pública. “San Juan”. El Programa fue un diseño cuasi-experimental, la población conformada por 470 alumnos del primer grado de educación secundaria, siendo la muestra solamente de 60 alumnos, de los cuales solo 31 pertenece al grupo experimental, así mismo se aplicó el diseño cuasi experimental de dos grupos no equivalentes (grupo control y grupo experimental) con la aplicación de un pretest y un post-test. Inclusive education is an urgent need in the Peruvian educational system. The Education Act states that this is a right for all without distinction, however education for children with special abilities have been locked up in special schools, limiting participants to a confined education, avoiding social interaction with peers and socialization in their midst. The research presented aims to provide input regarding the updating of teaching and non-teachers working in special and basic education in regular primary education, it is proposed a training program in Inclusive Education and its new approach to help to overcome the condition of children with special educational needs for social integration.

The permanent improvement of professionals in Cuba is a priority of Higher Education, universities make countless efforts to guarantee it in all its areas; In the case of mathematics teachers, this is essential, because in addition to the difficulties in learning its contents, there is a great variety in the training of the teachers who teach it. The master's degree in University Mathematical Education, which is developed at the University of Holguín, tries to address this situation from the permanent training of professionals who work as teachers of this discipline in Higher Education. In this article, some of the experiences and results obtained in this program are disclosed, as well as its impact on the territory of Holguin.

Peru has undergone significant economic growth, but inequality between different groups still exists. In order to improve the training of professionals in Peruvian regions, the Master’s Program in Community Psychology at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú has developed different training programs in Cusco, Ayacucho and Huancavelica. These are excluded regions affected by social violence due to past conflict. This article describes and analyzes the characteristics and the impact of training programs on participants and the population. Furthermore, this article reflects on how to develop vocational training to foster and recreate knowledge in a way that avoids reproducing relations of domination. The con­ tribution of Community Psychology is highlighted, as well as the professional, political and personal training in Community Psychology.

The study aimed to assess the efficacy of high-intensity interval-training (HIIT) compared to moderate-intensity continuous training (MICT) for 12 weeks on a treadmill on maximal aerobic potency, aerobic resistance, respiratory and heart rate at rest, left ventricle structure and function in dogs. The study design was a blinded controlled clinical trial. Thirty untrained dogs between 12 and 84 months were randomly distributed in the groups: HIIT (n=11), MICT (n=9); and control (n=10).
