This bibliography had its origin in two small compilations, one in charge of Henry Harman, functionary of United Nations, and the other by Teodoro Abanto, student of the Economics Program in Universidad del Pacífico. Those initial works gave a first idea of the dimensions that had the bibliography produced by the “Revolutionary Process of the Armed Forces”. The bibliographical records were put in chronological order. In the end, however, it is included a thematic index as a guideline for those who are interested in more specific aspects; the numeration of topics as well as the bibliography do not pretend to be exhaustive.

In this article, the author makes reference to the intellectual figure which the philosopher Pedro Zulen represents in the Peruvian intellectual process within the social, cultural and political dynamic context which the Peruvian society experienced in the first decades of the XXth century, critical times of renewal of national life. For that, the author explores Zulen’s ideas and relates him with other important thinkers of his times.

This article outlines the coordinates in which the abbot of Sieyès, who participates in the controversies that gave rise to this historical process, is the author and author of an influential and original proposal that would include the controversial exchanges of literate people committed to the course of his country’s recent policy, either by supporting the monarchy and its ministers as critics against it in the different expressions of opposition to the so-called “Old Regime”; and examines the conceptions of nation that approach Sieyes’s proposal, in order to distinguish them and to discern the originality of his revolutionary proposal, and to carry out an analysis of its theoretical content, while noting the unfinished details of its valuable contribution to the history of political and constitutional thinking.

By reviewing the academic and political biography of Anibal Quijano, this article reflects around the socialization of power, one of the Peruvian thinker’s proposals, during his second intellectual stage. It begins with his formation, to highlight his initial adherence to Marxism, his sociological production, his commitment and political militancy through the Socialist Revolutionary Movement, the creation of Sociedad y Política magazine, inter alia. This goes hand in hand with two key events in the socio-historical Peruvian process: the emergence of Villa El Salvador and the formation of the Left Revolutionary Alliance. Events to which Quijano’s attention was no stranger.

This article addresses Colombian foreign policy in the context of the post-conflict period. First, it establishes the relationship between conflict and foreign policy during the governments of Andrés Pastrana (1998-2002) and Álvaro Uribe (2002-2010), and explains the turn that occurred with the arrival of Juan Manuel Santos to the presidency (2010- present), the peace talks with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). Second, it analyzes the global scenarios in which Colombia wants to deploy a more active, propositive and autonomous new international image in a post-conflict context. El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación es conocer la oleada revolucionaria de 1848 o “Primavera de los pueblos” como lo mencionaba el historiador británico Hobsbawm fue uno de los movimientos revolucionarias que estalló en pleno siglo XIX. Este movimiento revolucionario se expandió rápidamente en varios países de Europa a diferencia de las otras olas revolucionarias suscitadas en 1820 y 1830. La orientación profesional mantiene una estrecha relación con los cambios sociales a lo largo de la historia y responde directamente a la percepción del hombre sobre las diversas profesiones. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar las etapas históricas de la orientación profesional en Cuba y sus particularidades en la ciudad de Santiago de Cuba. La revisión incluyó 17 productos bibliográficos, incluyendo 2 libros, 3 documentos normativos sobre orientación profesional en Cuba y 12 artículos de revistas indexadas en bases de datos como Scielo, Latindex y Scopus. Se incluye el papel que los EEUU y la URSS jugaron en ese periodo, a la luz de tres conceptos, inestabilidad política, el fracaso del Estado y la intervención externa. This article analyses the Bolivian political process in historical perspective since 1952. The role played by United States and Soviet Union during this long period is analyzed by taking into consideration three important concepts: political instability, failed state, and external intervention. The Bolivian political history sheds light on various aspects that must be considered in the study of the Latin American region.
