Nowadays, companies face strong competition worldwide, so there is great pressure to increase productivity and reduce production costs. Low productivity is reflected in a high amount of waste, unproductive times, and returns in the extrusion process of an SME in the plastics industry. Therefore, a model focused on continuous improvement is proposed to increase productivity using Lean Manufacturing tools such as Standard Work, SMED, and TPM. Through a simulation of the extrusion process using the Arena software, it was possible to validate an increase in the productivity of the extrusion process by 4.97%, going from 0.21 to 0.22. Likewise, the Standard Work tool reduced wastage by 30.44%, the SMED tool reduced extruder machine setup times by 9.76%, and finally, the TPM tool, focused on its fourth pillar of quality maintenance, was able to reduce defective products by 28.38%.

Esta investigación desarrolla la validación de un modelo de mejora continua que permite mejorar las ineficiencias en los procesos de servicio de atención en restaurantes de comida rápida en la ciudad de Lima. Asimismo, se puede confirmar que el modelo de mejora de enfoque sistemático optimiza los procesos operativos. En este caso de estudio, se utilizaron las herramientas de Estudio de Métodos y Tiempos, la Teoría de Colas y Planificación de la Producción Agregada para reducir el problema principal. A cloud-native application is a software specifically designed to run in the cloud, focusing on distributed, elastic, horizontally scaled, and microservice-based architecture with autonomous deployment. These applications are designed with cloud-native web architectures, operate on an elastic self-service platform, and stand out because of their resilience and elasticity. Continuous software engineering integrates requirements engineering, development, and operations in a continuous loop with reciprocal feedback to produce quality software. The present work proposes to design and implement a cloud-native application applied to the SIGCON case study from a continuous software engineering perspective. It uses the CaaS cloud service model, applies the BFF pattern in software construction, containerizes the frontend, backend, and storage, and presents the results.

El objetivo general del trabajo de acuerdo a un estudio y análisis es brindar propuestas de mejora en el proceso logístico para contenedores de importación que se encuentran almacenados en el depósito temporal de APMTIS-CALLAO, la información obtenida de los KPIs internos dio como resultado que los cuellos de botella principalmente se encuentran en dos procesos que es recepción y despacho , el trabajo se enfocara en los dos procesos anteriormente indicados tal es así que tendrá un gran impacto interno en los servicio ofrecidos por el depósito que busca ser sustentable en el tiempo .

To adjust the parameters that influence the appearance of defects in the steel in the continuous casting mold, a particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO) was developed using process models. The study considered multiple objectives with multiple restrictions and the results were compared with those reported by a teaching-learning-based optimization algorithm (TLBO). We conclude that the PSO has a good capacity to determine the parameters of the mold, and with it, it is possible to achieve an optimal solution without requiring great computational efforts.

In Peru, the food industry represents 16.52% of GDP and bread is one of the foods that generated the highest consumption; however, despite the demand, bakery SMEs have a negative performance. Poor process management and methods are used affecting its pro- ductivity. Faced with this problem, SMEs in Europe are using the Lean Manufacturing methodology to optimize their processes. That is why this article proposes as a contribution the Lean-Deming Model, which includes tools such as Poka Yoke, Work Standardiza- tion, 5S and Deming Cycle. El estudio del paisaje implica un proceso de multidisciplinariedad importante, en el que la historia funge como eje fundamental al representar la dinámica de las estructuras y morfologías sociales y ambientales que van dejando huellas en los espacios. Los paisajes son ventanas a los diferentes modos de ser y hacer en la historia, por lo que son una herramienta con grandes posibilidades para comprender las súbitas transformaciones de las regiones contemporáneas. La discusión que se propone en este sentido, comienza por encontrar la posición teórico-metodológica de los estudios del paisaje en las ciencias sociales, en específico con el enfoque cultural en geografía.

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo describir y analizar el sistema de gestión por procesos y competencias corporativas en la empresa inmobiliaria Inverglobal de Barranquilla, Colombia. Se identificaron deficiencias en la estandarización de los procesos y la falta de alineación entre las competencias del personal y los objetivos organizacionales. This article is about a company dedicated to export cloths, which outsource the process from the tissue to the garment finishing. The topic is centered in confections outsourcing, what is a MyPE and their problem respect to quality.Confections MyPEs do not count with a defined quality system, reason why the implementation of quality tools and continuous improvement to enhance their products (garment) quality standards is proposed. To implement this concept, the MyPE’s staff was trained to use quality control tools, continuous improvement tools and the auto control method. Measurements pre and post the implementation of the mentioned tools were taken. A reduction of the confection error rate of the MyPE was achieved.

For this, a Qualitative Systematic Review was carried out, making it possible to conclude that investing in actions involving the STEAM approach represents a potential for innovating educational practices, as well as supporting the presence of girls in STEM areas.

This paper is focused on creation a program to simulate the dynamic behavior of a reactor of tank with constant reaction which initials in English it is CSTR (Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor), and is considered as a complete mixture and, therefore, it is assumed that their properties are uniform throughout the reactor in which the exothermic reaction takes place of the ethyl acetate saponification with sodium hydroxide.
