The present research had as objective to identify, through evaluation, scientific rigor level ofthe masters’ theses in education of a public university. We used the documentary analysistechnique; an instrument was made to evaluate the master´s thesis and was validated by theexperts judgment technique. The population was made of a total of 126 master’s thesespublished between the years 2012 and 2014, and of a quantitative type, a sample of 72master’s theses were taken for analysis applying stratified sampling per year publicationand were selected randomly. The metropolitan area of Lima - Callao is located in the center of Peru, facing the Pacific Ocean. Lima is the capital and serves as political and administrative centre of the country. The aim of this study is to demonstrate that significant differences emerge when comparing the evaluation of teachers’ competences from the perspective of the students of the four specialized master’s programs at CENTRUM PUCP, Lima. The applied research was of a non-experimental design, employing comparative description and hypothetical-deductive and quantitative methods. The sample was composed of 143 students from four specialized master’s programs, chosen at random. The information was gathered through a survey, by means of a questionnaire containing 30 items associated with teacher competences. Using the Kruskal-Wallis Test, a meaningful inference was obtained (p-value <0.01) statistically demonstrating the general hypothesis. Esta investigación se centra en la implementación de la reingeniería del proceso de medición de los Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) importados por un centro de distribución de una empresa especializada en la venta de productos para la mejora del hogar y materiales de construcción. Para identificar los factores que influyen en el proceso y optimizarlo, se realizó un estudio de tiempos y movimientos del proceso utilizando la herramienta conocida como diagrama de espagueti. Como resultado, se incrementó la productividad y disminuyeron los tiempos muertos, lo que permitió medir en menos tiempo el universo de SKU. El estudio también condujo a la configuración del sistema utilizando datos correctos, lo que facilitó la operación dentro del almacén.

Different fellowships programs to public school teachers have been developed in Latin-American. In Perú, this new program has been managed by Pronabec financing fellowships for teachers of different regions during 2014-2015. Thisstudy is addressed to analyze the teachers´ dilemmas faced when they applied; and, explore the future professional perspectives of this kind of teacher. The qualitative method implies a documental analysis and survey with open answers to 20 teachers. Four types of dilemmas were identified–master versus family, master versus school, master versus another study, master versus no migration–, and eight possible futures scenarios related to the professional, academic, and unionpolitical fields.

Objective. Determine the level of attitude toward scientific research and towards statistics in students of the masters of health sciences and social sciences, as well as the identification of their academic background. Materials and methods. A quantitative, observational, analytical and applied study was carried out. This research addresses two relevant topics for industrial engineering: master production plans (dependent variable) and uncertainty (independent variable). The latter constitutes a critical impact factor in the manufacturing sector. For the investigation, we collected articles related to these variables to establish the state of affairs in the specialized literature. We searched for information in two indexed databases, Scopus and ProQuest, and filtered it using inclusion and exclusion criteria derived from the PRISMA method. We identified sixteen scientific journal articles of interest for the investigation at the end of the process. These studies show essential data about the variables described and additional variables that influence uncertainty and that, in some way, impact the preparation of master production schedules in the manufacturing sector.

Objective: To determine the digital skills among students of the master’s program in Palliative Care and Pain Management at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos School of Medicine in 2022.Materials and methods: A non-experimental, descriptive and cross-sectional research. The study population was comprised of students of the master’s program in Palliative Care and Pain Management enrolled in the year 2022. A non-probability sample was used.
