Although urban legislation is fundamental to improve the living conditions of Peruvian cities, in the case of Metropolitan Lima the regulatory framework for urban planning is, to say the least, chaotic and ineffective. For this reason, in this paper we describe and analyze the regulatory framework of urban development at the metropolitan level with the objective that the legibility of the regulations helps to improve the design of public policies and guidelines for the planning of the city. Through cabinet analysis, workshops and unstructured interviews, we studied the history, actors and instruments of the urban planning regulatory framework of Metropolitan Lima. We conclude that this legal framework currently faces critical challenges such as administrative fragmentation and lack of vision of the city, institutional weakness and the lack of systematicity in the regulations.

In order to use historical data for revealing temperature changes in Central Peru during the 18th century, it is necessary to recognize and interpret the cultural, economic and social responses when confronted with marked environmental fluctuations. These caused changes to the farming systems, such as reduced productivity and revenues in all social sectors, particularly among the indigenous communities. Faced with this situation, the urban and rural population of Lima responded in numerous ways, from reorganizing irrigation systems, improved technologies and reduced taxes, to increased devotional Catholic ceremonies and in the indigenous sphere a public resurgence of ancestral cults supposedly eliminated in the 17th century.

The Achenbach Inventory of Behavioral Problems (test/retest reliability = 92) was administered to 908 adolescents in Lima, aged from 11 to 18 years, 621 coming from the control group (normal) and 287 from the experimental group (clinical group with divorced parents). Results showed that the experimental group exhibited significantly higher scores (T ? 70) than the control group (T < 60), the former reaching pathology level indicators. Moreover, a non-significant tendency to obtain higher T scores is more observed in females than in males. From the study results we can state that the Achenbach Inventory is a valid instrument for a screening process of children exhibiting behavioral problems that require psychological or psychiactric intervention in Peru.

The aim of this study was to determine the importance of stray dogs by the local governments of Metropolitan Lima and to identify the proposed control plans. The descriptive study involved 32 of the 43 municipalities of Metropolitan Lima that agreed to participate. The survey model carried out by the OIE regarding the control of dog population was used. In general, 90.6% (29) considered stray dogs a problem in their district, uncontrolled reproduction being the most serious problem. In addition, 58.6% (17) indicated that the municipality did not have a plan to address the problem, while 31% (9) had a plan and 10.4% (3) did not but were carrying out activities to address it. Surgical methods (spaying and neutering) were the most mentioned by the authorities to try to control the stray dog population, while euthanasia was only mentioned for cases of terminal illness or aggressiveness. This work describes and evaluates the application of a module to increase the specific abilities set in action when students resolve math problems. Such abilities are: analyzing the problem, identifying and laying out strategies, applying algorithms and revising the process that leads to the solution. The module presents problems solved by the teacher (modelling strategies) and uses the work of peers in order to consolidate and evaluate the work. The study uses a quasi experimental design with two pre defined groups, pre and post test. The sample was not probabilistic and was formed by 70 students. A test with 10 math problems was used as the instrument meant for the students to use the four strategies suggested in the module. Results show a difference in favor of the experimental group, which allows us to conclude that the module has an influence in the evaluated abilities.

The study focused on solving problems ofregularity, changing a competence that is relatedto results of learning mathematics in second gradesecondary school students in San Juan de LuriganchoLima. 28 second grade children were evaluatedthrough a pedagogical test. To find the correlation, the Pearson's r coefficient was used, the designwas descriptive correlational, using the scientificmethod, also the inductive and inductive method, ina basic theoretical study. It was found that in solvingproblems, 39% were in expected achievement, 32%in process level. In learning, 43% in process and 36%in beginning. It was concluded that the relationshipbetween solving problems of regularity, change andlearning of mathematics is 0.889 of Pearson's r, ata level of 0.05 of significance. If there is success insolving regularity and change problems, there willalso be success in learning

The main objective of the previous investigation was to know the degree of relationship between the problem-based learning and metacognition in students from the civil engineering at private university of Lima. To achieve this objective, it was necessary to include a population analysis. It’s a quantitative research, non-experimental design, correlational descriptive. It was assisted by 200 students as an analysis unit, the sample consisted of 126 students. Data were collected interviewing by simple random, processing data with the SPSS software 22 version. A statistical analysis Spearman’s rho was used. It was shown that there is a direct significant relationship between the study variables in a moderate and positive level with a correlation coefficient = 0,440 and a value of p= 0,000, rejecting the null hypothesis. It seems that there’s a need of implementing activities and condu...

The Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) are independent methodologies, that can be used and developed freely, but can be an important enhancer when you want to achieve innovation if they work together. The objective of this article is to present an analysis of the customers’ requirements in a product manufactured with biodegradable materials, the output result when applying the QFD was the quality critic related to toxicity, while the input information for the matrix TRIZ’s technical contradictions were the translation of the quality critic to one of the 39 technical design parameters, corresponding to parameter 30 (Harmful factors acting on the object from outside), being considered as the transfer point between the methodologies thus achieving the integration of both.
