Multisensory integration is a fundamental neural mechanism crucial for understanding cognition. Multiple theoretical models exist to account for the computational processes underpinning this mechanism. However, there is an absence of a consolidated framework that facilitates the examination of multisensory integration across diverse experimental and computational contexts. We introduce Scikit-NeuroMSI, an accessible Python-based open-source framework designed to streamline the implementation and evaluation of computational models of multisensory integration. This article aims to present a model that reflects the need for educational innovation that higher education institutions (HEIs) should consider when restructuring their administration, renewing their educational curriculum including entrant/graduate profiles, and collaborating with the various interest groups within the industry and society. The methodology of this study is qualitative, supported by a documented and cross-sectional investigation. As a result, a model is shown that represents the various elements that make up the need and relevance of educational innovation in HEIs. Through this model, educational innovation is shown to be a current necessity and all HEIs must assume their capacities to give it importance and take action for change.

Cloud computing, has become a commonly used word in the past few years, in particular the model “As a service”, because it is through this model that SMBs can access, in a more economic way to services that have traditionally been expensive. This model provides the ease of having a service that involves multi-brand computers, in the form of income and with scenarios of technological renewal; lessening the obsolescence of infrastructure, since it prescinds from own equipment. Due to the impact of cloud computing in the business applications, and in our daily lives, it can be said, that this model has come to stay; therefore, it is necessary to carry out a review of the benefits for companies.

Outsourcing contributes to business development. On some occasions, in order to secure low-cost bids, contractors agree to work under unsafe conditions; on other occasions, the client exerts pressure so that the service is completed ahead of schedule, causing contractors to take “shortcuts” and evade safety controls, which increases the risk of serious injury, chronic illness or even death. Here we present a model aimed at contributing to the literature around sustainable supply chains by examining a novel redesign initiative of the chocolate supply chain within the Peruvian cacao (cocoa) industry. Using the Creating Shared Value (CSV) framework, we apply the case study method in examining the Peruvian Cacao Alliance’s experience in redesigning both the stages and relationships within its supply of cacao to the world. Data were collected from both primary and secondary sources and analyzed after coding from categories defined in the literature on CSV. In this research work, shell deformations generated by surface forces acting on the shell are described and simulated. The Naghdi and Koiter models are used to describe shell deformations. A weak formulation for the model is obtained, and some results on the existence of solutions are presented. The finite element method is then used to obtain the deformations. In addition, simulations of shell deformations are shown for the case of sectional curvature k = 0.

In this paper the application of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is described, and then the service providers cloud computing is identified. The first activity in multicriteria decision- making is to establish the factors that are important to that decision. This has been determined as criteria in selecting cloud providers: accessibility scalability, performance, security. The SEPROCCAHP v01 model has been applied for three groups of students in the course of business logistics. Two groups of students have selected Google, and a third group at Microsoft. The results differ because it depends on value judgments issued in the peer evaluation criteria and alternatives to select.

We study a system formed by M dimers through half-filled two-site Hubbard model, with two electrons. Our approach use the third version of Nonextensive Statistical Mechanics as tool for calculating thermodynamic and magnetic parameters such as entropy, internal energy, magnetization and specific heat. In the computer simulations, we vary the q entropic index values between 1 and 2, such that, q = 1.0, 1.4, 1.7 and 2.0. These values are interesting to study small magnetic systems. We find the critical temperature regions in simulations with the simple Hubbard model, i.e. without the intersite interaction. For other side, adding this additional term, we notice an enlargement and shifting of the thermodynamic parameters comparing with the obtained from simple Hubbard model; even more, we found in some cases the absence of the critical temperature regions.

El objetivo del trabajo es analizar el comportamiento cinemático y dinámico de la excavadora hidráulica Komatsu-PC4000, con ayuda de Working Model, software de simulación que permite simplificar los cálculos de velocidades, aceleraciones y fuerzas presentes en la máquina de trabajo al momento de realizar las actividades de excavación, carga y descarga del fosfato en la mina. The possession of integral models that allow to dimension new knowledge continues being a challenge to demonstrate. The purpose of study was to describe a methodological cognitive model for the generation and contribution of scientific results. Through the quantitative technique by content analysis, the proposed model was constructed, which consisted of three processes: 1st) management of scientific information, 2nd) cognitive interpretation; and 3rd) scientific writing. Each process derives recognition structures in a transitional manner, which makes it possible to, the construction towards a validated information.
